poot_rootbeer: umad: there have been perfectly acceptable standard connectors available for over a decade?

Mini- and Micro-USB are terribly designed connectors for something that's going to be plugged and unplugged on an almost daily basis, and carried around in a linty pocket in between.

There really is no limit to the horseshiat excuses you guys will come up with to justify being a sucker.

Exactly. I'm going to have to take my Nexus S in for a warranty replacement soon, because after a little less than a year the mini-USB connector no longer seats securely. It's annoying to wake up in the morning and discover that I bumped the bedside table during the night and unplugged my phone from the charger.

And hell, what's with all this newfangled "yoo ess bee" stuff, anyway? 3.5-inch floppies and CD-Rs were perfectly acceptable! I had to change formats! What an inconvenience!
