SilentStrider: Good.Bit too late for Packers fans though.
Fade2black: Hey, I watched the game, thought it wasn't a reception...then tonight some local channel 13 news had the other angle from the goalposts...it clearly shows tate having more of it than I thought he would. Haters gonna hate.
Sachlpch: Last I checked you have to maintain possession of the ball through making contact with the ground in order to have completed the catch, simultaneous posession or not
VvonderJesus: Replacement Refs: August 2012-September 2012They will not be missed.
NewWorldDan: This should be fun. I can't wait to see how many cockups happen in week 4. Hopefully that will validate my claim that the scabs aren't that different from the traditional jackasses.I've actually enjoyed the last few weeks. The replacements have generally let the defensive backs go out and do their job for a change. And there really haven't been that many mistakes, but they've been entertaining mistakes. Yes, I do enjoy watching slow speed train wrecks, why do you ask?
muck4doo: The nightmare is over. Feel bad for you Packers fans that had to deal with the epitome of stupidity, but at least it is over now.
neuroflare: That was fast
The Bestest: I do wonder how many refs were counting on a deal for their livelihood. I mean, how many of them have adequate "day jobs"?Hochuli would've been fine regardless; he's a partner in a huge law firm, but how many others have similar 'fallbacks'?
FirstNationalBastard: So...a one week honeymoon period for the original refs, then in week 5, "THESE FARKING REFS SUCK THE POTATO SCABS COULD HAVE DONE A JOB THIS SHIATTY FOR LESS MONEY111!!!!!!1!!!!"
eddievercetti: I'm waiting for the Twilight Zone twist."Despite all uproar, calls are still getting botched...leading to Super Bowl 47, Texans/Cardinals...that's how the was won... in the Twilight Zone."
Grunz: The Bestest: I do wonder how many refs were counting on a deal for their livelihood. I mean, how many of them have adequate "day jobs"?Hochuli would've been fine regardless; he's a partner in a huge law firm, but how many others have similar 'fallbacks'?70 attorneys is not a "huge" law firm.
GreatGlavinsGhost: I guess this will be the last thread I can post these in then ...[i1222.photobucket.com image 786x590][i1222.photobucket.com image 815x537]Good riddance scabs.
VvonderJesus: BAH GAWD KING, THAT'S ED HOCHULI'S MUSIC
mikaloyd: Epiphany Good job refs. Pass Interference is not a real thing anyways. Catch is good, now we see if the refs are REALLY farking with the Giants. CATCH IS GOOD! refs confirmed for not blatantly cheating. still dumbasses when it comes to DPI. Patriots holding all day long. TD. Bullshiat.
Epiphany: The greatest trick the NFLRA ever pulled was convincing the world they weren't terrible.
SnarfVader: Since I might not get to use this again:[i212.photobucket.com image 300x181]
Springy23: There's a distinction that needs making in this thread.I'm a Seahawks fan. Part of me was jumping up and down on that last play cheering. I'm glad we got the win and think maybe we earned part of it with our first half D.But the realistic side knows that Tate didn't catch that ball and he only got close because he shoved a dude to the ground in order to get into position. There will be more calls like this once the real refs are back. I'm not sure they would have made the right call on the field either, and since it can't be challenged, I'm not so sure that the outcome would have been any different. But two weeks prior, when the Hawks played the Cardinals, Seattle was granted a fourth timeout after their third had expired due to an injury. Ken Whisenhunt went (rightfully so) apeshiat and their was a 5 minute delay, followed by a replay (for some reason) followed by a penalty, followed by the refs congregating to mark off the yardage and place the ball. All in all the game was delayed for nearly 15 minutes despite their only being 20-some seconds on the clock. There will be blown calls once the officials return. Controversy will never fully remove itself from the NFL as long as zebras continue to make the calls. What there wont be are embarrassing delays and petty mistakes like where to spot the ball. I can live with and forgive the former, but not the latter.
Triumph: Just when the Raven fans had perfected getting 74,000 to chant "Bullshiat" in perfect unison. Oh well, I'm sure more opportunities will come up.
mikaloyd: Same as it ever was
desertgeek: The Seahawks deserved to win that game Monday. They just didn't deserve winning it that way.
mikaloyd: Lets see what FARK's football fans thought of the tested and proven best, hand picked, fairest dream team crew of officials that the NFL could assemble during the Superbowl this lasr February.Publikwerks: If the pats lose by two, I'm literally going to murder the ref.John Buck 41: At least we know early on the farking officials are on the Giants payroll. Good to know.Pastorof Muppets Apparently, Referee John Parry's father, David, a longtime official, passed in 2011. In homage John Parry's beanbag contains his father's cremainsWaelordrooper What a display of unbiased reffing "unbiased" officiatingEpiphany Good job refs. Pass Interference is not a real thing anyways. Catch is good, now we see if the refs are REALLY farking with the Giants. CATCH IS GOOD! refs confirmed for not blatantly cheating. still dumbasses when it comes to DPI. Patriots holding all day long. TD. Bullshiat.Bulldog4life No pass interference? Had his hand around his shoulder...ICWEENER NO FLAG???!!!Damn Yankees WHAT THE FRACK??? HOW IS THERE NO FLAG ON THAT????Camrincrazy1984 He got mugged. Should've been DPI AGAIN.Lord of Allusions Oh, that was definitely PI.VW No DPI call? Bullcrap.pump the purple warrior Bullshiat non call REF!ClavellBCMI And a non-call on DPI causes the punt... WTG, officials.SaintstryfeLooks like the refs are betting for the pats....zamboniAny question that the refs are giving this to the Pats? No?Pats fan, huh?nvmacI prefer to believe that occasionally, NFL referees make mistakes.fat aristotle: Even Peter King thinks that was a missed PI call Am I the only one wishing that Hochuli could have come out and given the explanation of that review?inertIt was obvious the refs were biased in favour of the Pats from the Gaints' opening drive when Manning was called for grounding and gave up a safety.ljdjr34The ball wiggled on impact. How much do the refs want it?steamingpile I never would believe it when a ref is involved.puffy999Also, good on the Giant ...
neuroflare: At least they won't give a team five timeouts
lelio: neuroflare: At least they won't give a team five timeoutsI like a bit of randomness to punch up an otherwise boring game.
