WTF is this guys problem?

Don't Troll Me Bro!: Apparently, Mr. Thompson forgot how to run successful campaigns because he's been doing some of the same crap Mittens has been. Refusing to release taxes, etc.

I'm sure some of that was pushed onto him from the GOP; if Thompson releases his taxes it opens up the question as to why Mitt still hasn't released his. So they're forced to play "I'm Spartacus!" and all refuse. I like how Thompson has outwardly accused Mitt of tanking his own senate bid because the stink from Romney/Ryan is cascading down-ticket. I will do my part on election day to make him lose to a lesbian.

Somacandra: Actually, that position is already officially taken according to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love that people are very quick to ridicule LDS temple garments, when they probably wouldn't make fun of Jews wearing the tallit katan or Sikhs for wearing the kachh, or even Muslims wearing the ihram during the Hajj. But people seem creepily obsessed with Mormons and their undergarments for some reason.

Hats are not the same as underwear. There are very few non-religious conversations in which you can replace someones [insert adjective here] hat with [same adjective here] underwear and elicit the same response.

Don't Troll Me Bro!: propasaurus: Isn't Tommy the one just caught on tape saying 'hell yeah, I'm gonna eliminate Medicare'?

Don't know, but I wouldn't put it past him the way he's been acting.

You should've seen the GOP Senate primary. It was him, Eric Hovde, and Neumann all trying to out-derp each other. It was a big screaming match of "NO I'M MORE CONSERVATIVE!!!" I was at a job in Brookfield for a couple weeks during the primary, so I got to see all the Waukesha County adds. Then of course there were a bunch of the people I was working with calling Tommy a RINO and talking about how he's way to liberal. He was a 4 term Republican Governor of this state, leaving office 11 years ago, and suddenly these farkwits say he's a liberal. Farking scary what is happening to the right in this country.

"Who better than me, who's already finished one of the entitlement programs, to come up with programs to do away with Medicaid and Medicare?"

Don't Troll Me Bro!: thenewmissus: I would LOVE Tammy Baldwin to win. I am going to my local democratic office to pick up campaign signs either tomorrow of Friday. Baldwin and Obama.

I'm doubtful that she'll hold her lead, but that's all the more reason to work for it. I don't know if Thompson is just trying to appease the latest teabaggery that has gripped the state, or if he's actually gone full derp, but either way I don't like it.

I know that it is going to be a tough fight for Tammy but hopefully she will benefit from the turnout. I live in a central area (aout an hour away from you). I live in a derp county but I am seeing more and more Obama and Baldwin signs. We have 3 prisons in this country and since Walker went derp, I think we can expect a decent turnout. In my area, Santorum came in a close second to Romney. Very close. Uncomfortably close. So Obama may not win the county, but hopefully he will win the state.

Yep. That's him. You would think with all of these old folks with diabetes in this area that Tommy Thompson wouldn't have a chance. But you know, guns and religion tend to run this area.

gilgigamesh: Mitt Romney made a mistake when he decided to make Charisma his drop stat.

He is the living embodiment of the difference between charisma and comeliness: good looking guy, looks presidential, and has a comeliness probably around 15, but with a charisma of 5 or 6.

This.

We always added comeliness as an extra stat and rolled it. No sense confusing it with personality.

The Romney/Ryan campaign is like "Fredo in the boat." Joe Scarborough, September 26, 2012

I wonder which member of the ticket will come back to shore...

Ryan for sure, even though his policies would be disastrous for America, he does seem saner between the two, albeit by a slim margin.

He is most definitely not saner, quite the opposite. He's more personable, a more talented politician.

I'd expect it to be the other way around: without a metric shiat-ton of self-esteem bordering on a God complex, how do you convince people to follow you/give you money? I work for one of the richest men on earth. I've never met him in person, but I'd be shocked as shiat if he was a nervous, insecure guy. You gotta have charisma and confidence to get to that level.
