million. The fark? 1 million for manslaughter?? Again, the fark? 1 million is bail for people who shoot up a busload of retarded children and have a cigarette boa in Miami, and family in Cuba. What soldier is gonna have $100,000 needed to pay a bondsman, let alone a cool mil to make bail?

Now don't get me wrong, this guy probably deserves 5 years in the poke for killing his friend, and if his friend was still alive, I'd say send him to jail for exessive stupidity as well (You want to fire a gun at my head? If you think it will work, go ahead!), but isn't bail not supposed to be excessive? This guy isn't a flight risk. He's a stupid kid that got someone killed because they were also stupid. And it's not like it was Murder 1. He didn't mean to do it. Why should he not be allowed freedom until he is actualy found guilty?

It'll happen. I was a submission virgin for something like 9 years (wasn't really trying, mind you). But if you read other sites, or have people send stuff to you from time to time eventually you'll find something that hasn't already been on Fark.

When I read the article I assumed the guy either didn't mean to pull the trigger, or thought the gun wasn't loaded.
