I was mostly kidding in my prev postage. I have flown since 6 months old and 44 years later, I still know how to behave on a plane.I blame the parents and cheap airfare for yelling children.

This- first flight to visit the grandparents in Europe for me was at six months, and we went every summer. I thought it was the greatest thing ever because my mom would bribe me with a new coloring book and what not- is that really so hard?

My main issue with these ideas though is honestly, there are a lot of misbehaving people on airlines who I'd rather be rid of who aren't kids, so I just wish we could go after them. Crying babies honestly rarely bother me because that mom gets my sympathies- where on Earth are you going to hide with a crying baby whose ears pop where s/he won't disturb everyone else? Not like you can, say, drive across the Atlantic.

I only fly once or twice a year, but I've never really noticed tons of screaming children. There's usually one who won't shut up for 5 or 10 minutes, but then they go to sleep or whatever (and I fly Southwest, who is probably the kid-friendliest airline around). Is this really something people think about all the time and develop rage over?

I never gave a damn about babies when flying for years, then I made a farkling and flying became a hellish experience. I don't blame the parents or the babies. I blame the f*cking grandparents for pressuring young parents into traveling so they can get a more three-dimensional look at their crotchfruit's crotchfruit than skype provides.

I hate my parents.

I accept the hate from non-baby-possessing flyers, but just remember that we don't want to be on the damn plane, and our hell doesn't even end with the flight.

Seriously who flys without noise cancelling headphones? You KNOW it's going to be loud, and you KNOW what the solution is, yet people continually biatch.

My last boss did that, but he was a moron, and EVERY trip I had to hear about some kid that wouldn't shut up or some person talking loudly, or the person next to him bugging him. I wanted to put him in a quiet zone because of all the complaining.

It would be a lot less aggravating if the parents would make an attempt to settle their crotch-droppings down. I don't really blame the kids so much, especially the little teeny-tiny ones.

But it makes me all stabby when there is a 8 year old kid shouting bloody murder on my flight from Oslo to Brisbane, and the mother is sitting there pretending to read a magazine, and pretending to not notice that a line has formed in the aisle with people bearing crowbars and brass knuckles...all because, hey, it doesn't bother her - she tuned her kid out years ago.

Have some consideration for others, biatch. You are a loser for a reason.

I'm sorry, but the parents who drop everything to tend to every scream and cry are the ones who end up having precious snowflakes. If it's just a plea for attention then, yes, I will go back to reading my magazine. You will find this out one day

We fly back and forth to Orlando a couple times or so per year... so yeah, it's kind of ground zero for flying with young kids on the plane.

Honestly, they've yet to be a real issue- the flights are about 2.5 hours or so, and only a couple times can I think of a kid that was screaming and even then it didn't last long. I put my headphones on, dial up a little music, and it's easy enough to just ignore it.

I'm sure that it can be a real problem on occasion, but the biggest pain in the ass I've ever dealt with wasn't a kid, it was a dipshiat who didn't understand "guy in the middle seat gets both armrests." Dude was a farkwit.
