I used to live in a house with a big backyard. We kept on unearthing tombstones and cement statues and crosses. No bodies were found though. We later found out, to our relief, that the house used to be in the "tombstones business". They would build all sorts of graveyard cement plaques and stuff.

the highschool i went to was built over the remains of Montcalms encampment outside of fort william henry (think last of the mohicans.) anytime they went to do any renovations that involved digging they had to get a full archealogy team. The new gymnasium alone ended up recovering half a dozen bodies and enough military artifacts to fill half a museum (including two cannon)

Dig anywhere in Embra and you're likely to find a body sooner or later.

The grade school/high school I attended as a kid was a private Catholic school. The playground wasn't always located where it is presently. It used to be the church's graveyard. They exhumed the bodies due to the growing population of the church and the need to expand the school some time around the 1940's and moved them to a new cemetary which they still use today.

They didn't get them all though.

In a wooded area next to the playground, in what is commonly referred to as the Potter's Cemetary, there are still 3 or 4 stones left.

I was at a barbecue in Grove Street a couple of weeks ago and no bones were left unburned. This place is just a few doors down from where I was, but the most exciting thing my friends have ever dug up in their garden was an old wine bottle.
