Props to them for bucking the trend of celebrities giving their children outlandish names.

I don't recall that the article actually said what they would name him, though I do hope its Freddie.

Their daughter is named Charlotte so it's looking good for a reasonably normal moniker for the kid.

She looks great with some weight on her.

Doubt it - Gellar is Jewish. Jews of Eastern European descent don't name kids after anyone living.

Actually she does. There was times during the last few seasons of Buffy when I thought she looked scary skinny.

True, but if they officially name him after his grandfather, they're good, aren't they?

Freddie the third would be a great name.

Depends on whether the man's still alive :-)

Um......

He isn't. Quite decidedly so, to the point where I give Freddie Jr a pass for a lot of things. The fact that he's turned
out as reasonably normal and down to earth as he did is rather amazing, even if he was only a year
old when his father killed himself.

Freddie the first was half Hungarian Jewish (dad's side), half Puerto Rican (mom). But he really wouldn't have been Jewish since it's the mother's blood that matters.

"Lookin' good" that the baby's a boy - must be bittersweet for them, indeed.

Looks euphamistic to me.

Have either of them done anything entertainment-career wise lately? I wonder if Sarah is envious of Willow. Heck, even Cordelia had more of a career post Buffy than Buffy :)

According to the article, they prefer family time to working. So having almost no active careers is more or less by choice. Which, if you can do it, more power to you.

And considering that their daughter is named Charlotte Grace, I have high hopes for the boy's name.

SMG was on 'Ringer', on The CW, last season but the ratings were low and it got cancelled after only one season. The show itself wasn't too bad but really only had about one season's worth of plot so it might be for the best.

Doubt it. Considering how much she got paid back in the day and what she likely gets in royalties or whatever from syndication I'm sure she's not hurting. Not to mention what someone else mentioned about them preferring family time to working.

It's also nice to see a celeb couple that hasn't been been steadily imploding and that we don't know every last detail of their daily life.

She was done with "Buffy" well before that series came to a close.
