Canton: Skarekrough:Dry Cider is for people who hate themselves and feel the need to punish themselves for no good reason.Actually I did a gallon experiment last year of dry cider and handed off to a buddy who enjoyed it thoroughly.Ahh, cider talk. I was hoping the article would sneak a cider review in there -- they do sell it right alongside the beer for whatever reason -- but no alas... I'll probably end up trying the Fall Woodchuck this year, anyway./Wish I could find pear cider somewhere.//Meanwhile, beer snobbery is fun to watch...
Tawnos: The_Tawnos: The_Sponge: IMHO, it is the best pumpkin beer out there.Southern Tier Pumking rules the pumpkin beer category.Another good one.BTW, have you tried Howe's Sound pumpkin ale>

zobear: Anyone tried a Bob's 47 from Boulevard yet? I remember back in the day when Boulevard sucked (very early 90s), and then while I was away from KC, they figured out how to make some really kickass beer.Weyerbacher sounds interesting. CO has a great selection, but we definitely miss out on the regional gems as well.
jeaux65: I wish I were a beer snob, but in general, I hate beer. Then again, I've only had Bud Light years ago and whiff of Old Milwaukee from my alcoholic uncle's breath.Recommendations?
Canton: I'll probably end up trying the Fall Woodchuck this year, anyway.
Explodo: Saying "Best Fall Beer" is like saying "Best punch in the nuts" It all sucks.I love beer, but if there are two beers I can't stand: IPAs and Fall Beers.
mudpants: fallingcow: WinoRhino: mudpants: But I want BEER, a beer that tastes like beer. ya hear? When I am feeling that way: Weihenstephaner Original. Beer. Simple. Perfect.Stone's Double Bastard. It's the beeriest beer that ever beered. It's the beer that beers drink in the fine taverns and hobo tents of beersville, beersylvania. It's like a farking beer singularity.I will try that !

The Dog Ate My Homework: Not usually a big fan of Sam Adams, but their Oktoberfest is damn good stuff. And I don't care what time of year it is, Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat is one of the best beers ever made tastes like the milk from a bowl of Fruity Pebbles.
Mock26: Oh yeah, I am a serious beer snob. I look down upon beers like Bud and Miller, so much so that I will pay for bottled water rather than drink free Bud or Miller. With that being said, I do not look down upon people who drink those beers. I believe that people should drink what they want and be happy. What I do look down upon, though, are people who are unwilling to try something new. I just cannot fathom people who will not try a new beer (and far too many people I knew back home were like that). Do not get me wrong, I am not saying that you should try some super exotic beer that runs $50 a bottle, but if you see a new tap in your local watering hole, be brave. Have a pour. Or if a new beer is stocked in your local grocery store and the price is reasonable. Give it a whirl. What have you got to lose? If you do not like it, then fine. You can back to drinking what you normally prefer. But what if you do like it? Maybe it is better than your normal beer. But, you will never know unless you try it.
