A Knight's Tale is one of the best and most entertaining movies ever, with quotable dialogue...

I have never once heard or read anyone quoting A Knight's Tale, ever.

This. The movie has been weighed, has been measured, and has been found wanting.

This. again

As for the news in the article, a resounding meh. I figured subby was joking and the new project might actually be something cool.

eh, I liked the movie, have the soundtrack, I'd try it.

Huh! Yea, heard about this project. Two days ago. On Reddit.

What's with all the people fellating Reddit lately? We're mostly aware it exists. If we want to go there, we will.

Seriously. I heard about Reddit two days ago, and now we're getting dozens of Johnny-come-latelys who just figured out how to use the internet blathering about it in every other thread.

Is it too soon for the geeks to admit to themselves that "Battlestar Galactica" sucked and that Ron Moore is a hack?

The only thing I remember about that movie was that Shannon sossamon was really hot.

Bad trolling, you need to be more subtle.

Caprica sucked....

I will acknowledge that the last few seasons fell off (and the finale jumped the shark like few before) but that first season was ridiculous. (as was the battle of new caprica).

The bit of it we got to see did, but that's because they took way too long to get the story moving.

I originally tried to watch it, but bailed at New Caprica. I recently went back and watched the whole serious so I could see how I felt.

After season 2, they just kinda hobbled along until the final, mewling faceplant. I get what they were going for, but it just slipped to the end after treading water to exhaustion.

Also, I think that is what they were going for. They wanted us to be tired of it so we would accept any exit offered.

The mini/pilot that kicked it off was actually enjoyable, but every episode since just got worse and worse. Wonder if it's because RDM was involved less and less.

Towards the end they were only spending 4 min a episode on each plotlines because they write way too many problems, characters, and fluff into it. Plus they weren't kidding that their model was the soap opera, holy melodrama caked on thick!

Serious answer? I've seen all the sniping here aimed at other sites, like Reddit and Consumerist, and decided to form my own opinion. Realized that their communities are actually less structured, more user-run (vice admin) and tend to break news faster with more relevant data than Fark ever appears able to handle.

Granted this article is about a fantasy show that will look like Three's Company compared to Game of Thrones, but combined with it being old news made me realize I wasn't learning anything here at the aggregator's version of Walmart. This is from a Farker with his ten-year chip.

"It's not news, it's Fark" could never be more accurate than now.

I think Caprica was best enjoyed in rapid sequence, instead of waiting a week (or a year) between episodes. The same thing said about Stargate: Universe. I really enjoyed Caprica. When it ended with Things to Come I was so disappointed because there would be no Things to Come. Meanwhile, what season is Survivor and Big Brother on?

/just shocked that Once Upon A Time not only beat the 'interesting premise, obvious money spent on script and sets, but executive meddling, cancelled immediately' curse...

A Knight's Tale is one of the best and most entertaining movies ever, with quotable dialogue, great performances, and catchy, deliberately anachronistic music.

I must have watced, or rather left while my wife watched, a different movie.

Oh, oh, what do you get at 10 years? Is there a catalog? Do you get bonus points for being so cool you still come back to fark even though there are better, greener pastures on the net? And if Fark is the WalMart of aggregators, does that mean they are always driving costs down, or do they just exploit Chinese labor and drive local aggregators into bankrupcy?

See you had it right the first time. Bail after New Caprica, because, like a tasty Mexican buffet, it starts out wonderful and awesome, and ends up being watery shiat.

Ahhh yes, Ron Moore... the man who wrote himself into so many plot holes that in the end he just threw up his hands and said "fark it, we'll just say that "god" did it." Yeah thanks, but no thanks. The guy is a hack. He's basically one step below George Lucas, and yes I do mean that pejoratively.

Still doesn't explain the Reddit fellating. You're obviously just trolling. Since no one mentioned Reddit and the people who are commenting on this thread obviously didn't know about this news. Not to mention WHOA TWO DAYS OLD!!! That's prehistory maybe. Also, the link and the article match dates, so subby/Fark aren't still on the wrong.

Now sod off and stop being a nincompoop.
