Anenu: To be fair I doubt most people voting for him know about the scandal and this exact same thing could happen in any other state the difference being that Illinois politicians generally have less shame about their corruption than other politicians who try to hide it by claiming it never actually happened or pretending that they where misinterpreted or taken out of context.
