Do I have to be wearing pants while thinking of them?

2012-09-24 08:58:18 AM
Two months ago I walked into Neiman Marcus' lingerie department in San Diego and asked the saleswoman if she had any bras in my size, 28G.

Am I the only one who just stopped reading and started GISing?

2012-09-24 09:00:06 AM
I'm sure plenty of men do, subby.

Sofia Vergara is a 32F? I didn't know she was that big. What's Kat Dennings then?

2012-09-24 09:04:09 AM
I'll be in my bunk, thinking of big breasted women with small waists.

Oh, it's not that hard to find good bras in those sizes, you just have to be prepared to pay $120 to $200 per bra.

It's worth it.

As a grad student, that would mean giving up on food for a month, for each bra... Just for the record.

It's hard enough to find bras in my size and my band is 34, I can't imagine if my band size was much smaller. I know my sister has a hard time finding band size 30 in her (much) smaller cup size. I did find some bras I like that are $80 in a shop or $50 on Amazon, and fit better than any of the bras I had been trying to squeeze myself into for the last five years or so (Le Mystere). I will be looking up some of the bras mentioned in the article, though.

28G and a small waist? She's gotta be shaped like a maraca.

If you're Sofia V., then you're obviously got the money to have whatever you need custom made as well. And as for the author---she went into Needless Markups? Any bra sold in that store is not going to sell cheap.

Well those of us who live outside a West Virginia holler prefer women with good teeth as opposed to get a gumjob from your cousin.

Heh, yeah I know. Also, once you shell out the money, you have to handwash them with unicorn tears and fan them dry with bald eagle feathers.

Figleaves is a great online resource with frequent sales. Try Lejaby, Chantelle, Freya, or my favourite, Empreinte.

I hate handwashing things... When I was at home, my parents' washing machine has a handwash setting, and I put things in lingerie bags, and it works quite well. Now I actually have to wash things by hand. It's horrible ;)

Thanks much, I will definitely look into those.

Salad spinners work just as well. You put in lingerie soap spin it for a few minutes then do a rinse spin.

This is incredibly true. I'm a grad student and the wife is size 32F. Trying to find something that fits for under $100 is insanity. But then we found fredricks of hollywood. That website is a godsend, and I would recommend it to any farkette with ample waves of grain.

Really, it's just giving back to humanity IMO. The greater good. Far, far better thing than I have ever done. Myself to thee, etc etc.

Just to be clear, any Farkettes in similar predicaments, really... call me, maybe.

This reminds me of back when I was a bikini inspector. People think it's all fun and games, but you try inspecting those bikinis as they're coming off the line every 10 seconds. It's damn hard work. Sometimes you let an irregular one go by and the supervisor comes by and chews you out. You still want to be a bikini inspector?

My Ex-g/f was 5'4, weighed 115 pounds, and had double F (or up to double H, depending on the manufacturer) cups... she had to wear shirts way too big for her waist, and really had trouble finding dresses that would fit.

also, Victoria Secrets carries absolutely nothing that large.

If they didn't get such ridiculously large implants, they wouldn't have that problem.

Yes I know, some are real.

But then there's me. And then there's Sofia Vergara.

Not that I'm comparing myself to Sofia Vergara, of course. I mean, sure, we have roughly the same breast size and body type, and both look absolutely stunning in a cocktail dress, but I'm just saying, Beautiful People Problems, you know?
