In the summer I don't care if it's raining, it feels great being outside in the rain and usually it's slightly less humid.

Day: Hot tea
Night: farking

Nap under a pile of blankets with the window open
Bake and cook
Sit around in PJ pants and eat tomato soup with lots of white pepper in it
Sit outside under an umbrella or overhang so only my feet are outside in the rain and read a book while my feet get wet
Make a pot of Earl Gray and spike it with rum and watch chick flicks

I'm usually stopped.

At night I like to get comfy in bed and listen to the rain on the roof.

Unless it's really cold outside during the day I'll open some windows to let the clean-smelling rain washed air in.

We have a leak in the roof that's driving me crazy to find. The things is that it doesn't leak all the time when it rains. It's very sporadic.

Now, I'm thinking that it's probably related to wind direction as it only really leaks when there's really heavy rain and wind.

I also need to borrow a ladder and go on the roof and sweep off some leaves that have accumulated to help drainage...but hey, that'll be December as there's no point to do that now when all the trees just drop more leaves for the next 3 months. But I still need to do it before I fire up the fireplace..sometimes in Dec...late Nov.

I work 7pm-7am. Love when it rains during the day. Nice quiet house with the kids in school, open the windows and let the rain help me fall asleep. Some of the best sleep is when it is raining.

Of course, Mrs Medic helps me to fall asleep as well
