Never heard of it. Then again, there's very little I look at in the way of daily comics anymore.

\and I wish all sorts of karmic reprisals on anyone who posts The Comics That Shall Not Be Posted in here
\\hint: they're fake, and they're there to troll the hell out of everyone

Because of Parkinson's?

Shaky excuse.

Take care of yourself,Richard. And thanks for the laughs.

Cul de Sac has been a favorite of mine for several years now. I'm going to miss it. It is a shame that the good ones come to an end, while the crap lingers on long past its expiration date.

I had never heard of it, either, but I took the time to read several strips...it grows on ya.

I really enjoyed this particular strip...

...mainly because it references the greatest comic strip ever created:

A great tribute, and I agree with what you said...

Also one of my favorite Nintendo games as a kid.

That's because you've been reading the wrong ones.

If you like your comics a little on the creepy, sinister side, then you'll love Lost Side of Suburbia.

And if you like creepy, but kinda cute, Lio might be what you're looking for.

If you like quirky humor, then you might like Bo Nanas.

And another personal favorite: Scary Gary.

Sometimes it's like Fark in comic strip form:

I like bizarro comics. I haven't had consistent laughs since Gary Larson, but bizarro does the trick.

If not for the last year of re-runs, I'll miss Cul de Sac as well. Recycled from the beginning starts tomorrow for anyone that's missed it the first time around. Alice reminds me of one of my daughters.

Consternation and hubbub! I had no idea. It was the best strip of the past few years.

I'd never heard of it before it was referenced in Pearls Before Swine. Been a fan ever since. Very sad.

The translation from French means "Bottom of the Bag"

And here's another good, yet cancelled, strip that's in reruns: Out of the Gene pool.

Too bad, it was a solid comic in a world of crap.

After PLIF is there anything else to read?

Maybe Pibgorn.

More like "because what Parkinson's." It's become chic-if-ungrammatical in recent years to trim the "of" that comes after "because."

Aw, crap. I love this strip. My paper added it not that long ago, along with some real crapfests like Dustin and Prickly City. Aw well, as long as I still have Lio, Get Fuzzy, and Pearls.

Read the first several. To quote directly from it:

"Comic strips are supposed to be funny. You aren't funny."

Well, this is depressing news. :-(

Mara See Mara Do: Some of us were alive when C&H was still in the papers.

Some of us were alive when Peanuts was not only still in the papers in non-rerun form, but Rerun (Van Pelt) hadn't been born yet, Snoopy still walked on all fours and looked more like a real puppy, Charlie Brown's worst female nemesis was Patty (not "Peppermint" ― she, too, was a latecomer to the strip) and not Lucy Van Pelt, etc.

My lawn. Get off'n it.

The best Cul de Sac strip that I know of that doesn't have any of the human cast:

Hey all you old people in here talking about your comic strips. Guess what? They're not funny. Go be old somewhere else. Oh wait I forget this is Fark. This is where you've all come to die like an old dog straying from the house one last time.
