FTFA: She said she never used the iPad and planned to turn it over to airline officials, but placed it in a personal bag and soon forgot about it.

Police say they found some of her personal information on it, however, including a reminder for her husband's upcoming birthday.

"How did Encyclopedia know the flight attendant was lying?"

Im with the flight attendant on this one. He left it so finders keepers. If I lose my wallet its my own damn fault. Ill go after anyone who uses my credit cards (that's identity theft) but the cash in it is fair game. I don't see how this is a crime. If the self important douche on his iPad cant put down his $10 nonfat low carb latte long enough to make sure hes not leaving behind his $500 toy behind its his own fault. Protip: If i cant afford to replace something, DON'T FORGET IT. I don't own an iPad (proud to have never own any overpriced underpowered apple products that are more about status symbols than actual functionality.) but i do own a Caanoo and I don't want to lose so if its not in my hands, its in its case in my backpack. This woman's life is screwed up just because this self entitled idiots thinks his $500 toy is more important than a woman's freedom.
