Now watch as this officer, who had fatally shot someone else in the past, gets no punishment beyond three days' paid leave.

We have a real life tough guy. A cop.
And an ITG sawed off wanna be in a shopping cart of mobility.
Who's gonna win?

Well, now. Don't you feel like a big, bad, man, now, Mr. Po-Lice officer.
Aren't you just the white farking knight of the entire farking planet.

Oh. you gonna get laid.
Vestile virgins are going to line up to suck your lead spitting cawk for being the big, bad,man who can kill a wheelchair-bound person who had a pen.

///make the clean up easy.

One day they might even be held accountable for this sort of thing

That's sad but after reading the article, I don't blame the officer. If someone is coming at you and you're in a corner, and they're waving something that looks like a knife, it's then a choice to shoot or risk getting stabbed with a knife. It's sad but it was a fair kill.

Sucks for him: he gets to be the "dude who killed a one-armed guy in a wheelchair" the rest of his life. Even in cop circles that's gotta be like wearing a pink skirt.

I understand the actions of this police officer completely.

Once I was at a child's birthday party, and one of the children, who was probably 2 or 3 years old, trapped me in a corner. Suddenly, I realized that she was carrying what appeared to be a gun. Naturally, I did the only reasonable thing, and beat that little girl to death.

It turned out she actually had a lollipop. How was I to know? When faced with imminent danger, instinct takes over. Can anyone here really say they wouldn't have done the same, if you were in my shoes?

2012-09-23 12:37:38 AM
as has been noted before,
you call the police if you want your wheelchair bound double amputee shot to death,
not if you are looking for someone to calm down your wheelchair bound double amputee.

Yeah. It's not like he could have run away, right, or just punched the guy if his Taser wasn't working. We certainly can't have cops looking around for alternatives to killing someone.

Apparently you don't know many police officers.

Back at the station, he's a farking hero. They only knew it was a pen after the fact. IT COULD HAVE BEEN ANYTHING, he stood his ground and protected his partner. Any cop worth his salt would do the same in his place. He was FORCED to fire his weapon in the line of duty and this is a solemn somethingsomethingmorebullshiat

But don't worry. They will *investigate* the incident thoroughly. You know, to make sure nothing inappropriate happened.

Try to imagine a non-cop trying the "OK, the dude had one arm, one leg and was in a wheelchair, but his pen totally looked like a knife!" defense. Do you think the jury would even deliberate for five minutes?

And on a side tangent, how the fark do you get cornered by someone in a wheelchair who only has the one arm? Surely he either can't move or can't threaten you? Was he moving the wheelchair with his stump? Was he holding the pen in between the toes of his one leg?

RealAmericanHero: It's sad but it was a fair kill.

You don't even have to do that.

I'm in a wheelchair and I've had some self-defense/modified MA training - if you're facing me head on, within arms reach, I can hurt you - but if you get behind me, I'll be at a massive disadvantage because the wheelchair limits my lateral mobility (which is why, in the few times I've actually had to use my training in RL situations I look for a wall or a fence to back up against)

The way they should have handled this - one cop try and talk the guy down, the other flanks him, gets behind him and tackle or tangle him up.

No deadly (or even assisted) force was necessary.

The **PEN** might...^^

not sure why my computer has been randomly deleting words the past week... thought it was just me until I was doing a resume for a friend and he saw a word vanish a couple lines above where I was typing. If I didn't know better, I'd think this was 1998 and I was being screwed with by someone running Sub7 (GAWD that was fun!)

He's demonstrated his ability to kill. He could be capable of anything.

If you ever meet him, I suggest you shoot first and ask questions later.

If anyone would understand, it would be him. So don't hesitate.
