Heinicke set school records for completions (55), attempts (79), and passing yards (730) as New Hampshire (2-2), an FCS school, dominated the CAA's top-ranked defense throughout the first three quarters, taking a 54-38 lead into the fourth.

It's a good thing ODU had the topped ranked defense in the conference or they may not have been able to hold New Hampshire to 61 and win the game.

"If we keep playing we don't have to go past Hampton Blvd and get shot!" "By God men, we'll play so long we'll break records."

watched most of the game. just embrassing for unh. they had absolutely no pass rush. heinicke just sat in the pocket with essentially unlimited time to throw. the coverage wasn't good either, but you can't expect your DBs to cover someone for 10 seconds at a time. the really crazy thing is unh had a chance to tie it up at the end. this would've been an even crazier story if heinicke threw for 730 yards and odu lost.

Never doubt UNH's ability to lose a game.
