Do you ever get the feeling that if Sarah Silverman had been born a male the apex of her (well, his) comedy career would have been "funniest guy in the fraternity house"?

2012-09-22 12:06:43 PM
Still hilarious

No. If she was male she would have a prime time talk show.

I love Sarah.

I usually have a lukewarm response to Sarah Silverman. Occasionally humorous, usually annoying.

But that was awesome. Nice work.

2012-09-22 02:43:16 PM
She is funny as fark! And hot too!

2012-09-22 03:10:08 PM
Hot and hilarious, AS ALWAYS.

Okay, this isn't a troll and don't flame me for this, but I'm going to say it. I find Sarah Silverman attractive. There.

Pretty funny and accurate PSA, IMHO.

I didn't really care for her show, but her guest turns on Monk were delightful. And I,too, find her attractive. Sorta.

It would be hilarious if someone at Fox News could accidentally slip this video in during a commercial break for Fox and Friends.

Well shall we take bets on how long until shot glass and ten pounds of cheese show up to defend voter ID laws?

Ain't nothing adorable about that big nosed commie. Give dead people the right to vote or Mitt will win!

And 21 million people don't have driver's licenses but still figure out how to buy malt liquor and cigarettes... go figure.

Love me some Sarah Silverman.

Loved her efforts to help elect Obama back in 2008 and so far she has been doing even better here in 2012.

Adorably filthy lady comic is totes adorb.

What keeps people from just going and getting an ID? I know plenty of people who just have state issued ID's in Arkansas. It's looks almost identical to a DL.

/seriously...I'm asking.

If the state ID is free, that would pass constitutional muster. If you have to pay out to get an acceptable ID, it is an unconstitutional poll tax. That's why some states have workable voter ID laws and some get tossed by the courts.

But... but... if we don't pass the voter suppression voter fraud laws, 0000.4% of the voters could illegally hand electoral college votes to Obama! In low population states like Montana, North Dakota or Alaska. You know; swing states.

By the way, you guys really want to nail Sarah Silverman despite the "yellow discharge"?

2012-09-22 04:01:22 PM
It's informative while still being irreverent. I still don't find her all that funny. She's a lot like Daniel Tosh - she makes me laugh in the same way getting hit in the head with a hammer would make me bleed. When you overwhelm the audience with outlandishness, something will make you laugh but it doesn't mean you're funny.

But make no mistake, if Mrs. Z allowed it, I'd tap dat ass with fury.

here's what I don't like about them.

1. the timing. they made these laws in some of the states with very little time for those people who need to get them to do so. or even be notified that they would need them.

2. they made them hard to obtain because they want several pieces of identification to get them. I've been driving in Ga for 40 yrs and I had to go get a raised seal copy of my birth certificate (I had lost my original and all I had was a photocopy of the hospital birth record) and I had to have 2 utility bills with my name and address on them (I went paperless and do all my stuff online years ago) so I had to change that and then wait on the bills and my social security card. some people don't have their utilities in their name but in another family member's name and that would make it even tougher on them. and some states even try to charge for the i.d.s even going as far as firing employees at the DMV who voluntarily tell the citizens that they're free if they're just for voting.

3. there's no voter fraud going on that these measures would stop. it's a lie. it's a solution to nothing because it's not a problem.

if they had allowed enough time and made the state make sure that everyone had one before implementing the statute then I'd have no real problem with it. but no they implemented it and didn't even aloow time for the courts to review it much less allow everyone to get the new i.d. Our statute just went into affect in July. only those who needed to renew their license between july and elections day would have run into the new laws. the state itself never sent out any notification to me that I might not be able to vote using my old license,.

Interesting how voting machine irregularities (hardware/software failures, voting officials' errors, database issues, other general malfunctions and hinkyness) have affected far more voters and caused far more election time fraud/miscounts than any supposed voter fraud from IDless voters over the past few elections, and yet 21 states have mustered up these voter ID laws. Are there even that many that require paper trails from their voting machines and independently verified certification of the hardware and software of the machines?

what a racist fark she is.

Voter ID laws are targeting black people...ohhh, the race card.

How about 0bama's economic policies are targeting black people since they have a much higher unemployment rate than average?

I would destroy her, and I wouldn't even care if there was a running commentary.

Oh, and she's correct, too.
