Difficult week this week. Arsenal is playing well, but they haven't played anybody like City just yet. After a tough loss to Real, City will have spent all week tightening up loose play.

Can't wait for Manchester United at Liverpool tomorrow, either.

Not sure if I'll be able to post much (or watch the matches) as my Saturday is going to be fairly busy, but here's my predictions:

My least favourite game of the season. United will be shiat. Liverpool will give the best performance of their pathetic season before losing to Wigan/Southampton/West Ham/whoever next week.

With an extra special circus this year.

It should be 1-0 at least already. Wow

Ta.

Agree on the difficulty this week. I needed at least five insurance chips.

No kidding. I got done and realized that apparently I'm convinced every match will end 2-1.

Fark Fitba Predictions League Update

Gameweek 4 saw a lot of tumult and personal bests set, after the whirlwind of Week 3. Event of the week has to be the Saturn V like rise of Nathanjr, scoring a new league best of two-hundred-and-thirty points in a week*, taking the young man from nowhere [well, page 2] to the top of the heap. Cptrios, the early leader suffered a stitch, scoring just ten and plummeting to 17th spot.

A good week for most players - >100pt hauls for several players, including Mr H, nobiology, StRalphtheliar and bjmichel. Good form continued onto Page 2, where quite a few lads got their game together after a couple of weeks of convulsions. New personal bests for Obamartins and TottenhamLukewarmSpur amongst others.

55 points for Tom_Servo_Bit_Me. That is plus 55 points. Positive territory in sight Tom! Keep up this rate-of-change in your scores and you'll leap up the table! First order differentiation FTW?

I kept up with the pace of the peloton, and my 15pts Banker Bonus is becoming more precious to me than it should. I'm the only one who has nurtured it to that level. Page 2 Gentlemen definitely need to think more carefully where to put it.

This week, I predict Week 3 like carnage.

* I calculate theoretical maximum as 380. Any advance on that?

Pretty.

Not such a compelling slate of games this a.m., looks like Leeds/Forest is the match for me at 15.00

Mirallas with another. He's fantastic.

I read this in John Facienda's voice with Sam Spence's NFL Films orchestral soundtrack in the background. It makes it that much more epic.

All I know is that I started strong and have been terrible ever since, but I'm still trying to hang out in the top half of the table even though I don't really belong there. Sort of like West Brom.

Ohhhhhh baby. What a feeling.

As everyone else has noted, though, this week is bizarro world. I seriously felt like I was just throwing darts at a map when I submitted my predos. I think the international break came at a weird time--it interrupted the groove of figuring teams out for making picks.

Key is linking your banker to a positive result for you - scores minimum of 30* and a max of 90, without bonus. Importantly, mops up any number of wrong predictions.

* Try hard not to put the banker on a x2 result.
