I just now woke up and thought about submitting my own HL and this has already been instagreened ? My only joy will now be from breaking the hearts of anyone else that tries

Nice job subby. Let's hope this ppv is worthy of the long drought that preceded it

Although I fully expect "Chicken Bones" Jones to butcher Vitor I will be rooting for him.

First fight of the night Charlie Brenneman vs Kyle Noke

Tott has Noke with four inches in height and six in reach. Ref is Mirgliotta.

Round 1

Round starts out slow with some tenative punch attempts. Noke tries a front kick and then scores a good jab moving in. He continues to mix things up and scores a good right hand that puts charlie down for a moment. Noke puts a couple more punches down and it looks like Charlie is out and Mirgliotta steps in to stop it. Charlie doesn't know the fights over and after taking a couple more desperately goes for the takedown but this is already over.

Kyle Noke wins by tko

The only reason Brenneman got that chance for a takedown attempt was because Mirgliotta was pushing Noke off. Had it kept going that would have been more punches on Brenneman.

Second Fight Walel Watson Vs Mitch Gagnon

TotT has Watson with 6 inches in height and 7 in reach. Ref is Josh Rosenthal

Round 1

Watson keeps good range with the punches, not connecting on the first few. The two exchange kicks and circle back to the center. Watson getting a little sloppy with his strikes and Gagnon puts a beautiful punch on Watson's chin that's the begining of the end. Gagnon starts the ground and pound, keeping mind to look for position and grabs the back, looking for the Rear Naked Choke. He moves for it, repositions, and locks it up, getting the tap a few seconds later.

Gagnon wins by Tapout via Rear Naked Choke

Third fight of the night Seth Bacynski vs Simeon Thoresen

Tott has Seth with two inches in height and four in reach. Ref is Jon McCarthy.

Round 1

A tentative start for both as its single strikes and light combinations through the first minute. Seth is the one putting out more strikes but with nothing really connecting... Simeon has been setting up his jab and is slowly starting to find a home for it as Seth swings wildly. The evidence shows as a trickle of blood is at the corner of Seth's mouth. They clich after some cautionary striking and Seth scores a good knee to the body. They break and back to the simple striking exchange. Seth keeps trying a one one two combination that has nothing on it, except an eye poke at the end as he's trying to keep distance. Ref stops it and gives Simeon a moment before its back to the fight. Simeon moves to teh side and tries a counter hook that misses off the next combination. They exchange again and Seth scores a perfect counter hook that puts Simeon out.

SEth Bacynski wins by Ko in round 1

First FX fight Jimy Hettis vs Marcus Brimage

Tott has Hettes with five inches in height. Ref is Yves Lavinge.

Round 1

Marcus starts the fight wiht a couple of jabs and scores to the body with a right on the second. He continues to connect and stumbles Hettes up with a couple of well placed shots. Hettes looks takedown, misses. He stands back up and looks to keep distance fo rnow, but Marcus is still scoring good shots. They circle to the middle and Hettes eats a couple more moving in, looking for a tkaedown. Back to the center and its Marcus continuing to score good punches, backing Hettes up. Hettes tries a lowkick that checks the cup. Marcus gives him the thumbs up and they touch. Marcus continues to score good punches and scores a followup counter leg kick that takes away Hettes's legs. A couple more punches undefended and hettes goes down, but not out as he looks for a submission with the legs. Marcus looks for the ground and pound but Hettes is looking for subs. Marcus backs out and brings it back to standing. Both look gassed though as MArcus seems to have blown his wad with the striking. Hettes has eaten a lot but he's stayed the course and is starting to put shots of his own ona winded Marcus more and more. Marcus a little wobbly as he tries to continue to connnect. THey move into clinch range and hettes shows the guillotine before scoring a couple of knees. THey continue to exchange to the end of the round

Marcus 10/9, but he's looked more and more gassed as the round went on. This might be Hettes's fight to take at this point

Jimy Hettes Marcus Brimage round 2

Brimage comes out with the same striking that started the first round out. Hettes grabs the body lock and drags it down, in position for a twister that he seems to be looking for. Marcus looks to give up the back and rolls out before Hettes can get the hooks in. They only exchange a couple more shots before Hettes scores a good one at takes it back down, eventually winding up with back control. Marcus is trying to pry off the hooks and arms, keeping hettes honest as he works for the rear naked choke. Marcus eventually gets the hooks off and gets to the knees but Hettes works right back into position. Hettes has the body triangle and Marcus has correctly rolled to the ankle side, biding his time until he can pry the lock off and scramble, which he does. He is exausted though and Hettes scores some good shots as they start to reset back to striking. Marcus returns wiht a good hook of his own at the half minute mark. They clinch again and HEttes is shoved away from the takedown attempt. Marcus wants nothing of the clinch game and keeps at bay , ranging his jab as the round closes. They flurry once more and there's the horn.

10/9 Hettes for back control.

Transferring solid BJJ to MMA is hard to do.

No Gi's/Pants to grab, to way to easily control arms without sleeves and collars to grab, and of course: getting punched in the face.

...all reasons why I would never do MMA.

BJJ & Judo FTW.

Hettes's fight to lose at this point, Marcus might want to hit the treadmill after this one.

I swear Rogan has pre-written notes on these fights that he refuses to deviate from. He decided that Hettes's wrestling would tire Brimage and he's sticking to it. Nevermind that Brimage looks just fine.

Jimy Hettes Marcus Brimage round 3

Hettes eats some good leg kicks as the round opens. Marcus wants nothing of the clinch range and his ranged striking shows it. He continues to keep the arms out in front and the kicks continuing as Hettes looks to move in. They eventually clinch but only exchange a couple of shots as Hettes is too tired to look for the takedown. Marcus working well defensively, scoring good shots as he moves back while hettes tries to walk him down. More of the same as Marcus tags and tags again into a walking forward hettes. Hettes finally shoots a single leg that MArcus trips out of. They continue the striking which Marcus is winning, even though he's moving constantly backwards. Neither has much on his punches but MArcus is throwing them stronger by comparison and continues to connect with lefts and rights. He's fighting for a decision for sure and he's winning it. Hettes shoots again and is well stuffed as marcus circles away. Hettes finally thinks to start striking and scores a couple of good jabs on the tired Marcus but it seems like too little to late as they hit the half minute mark. Not the best of endings but a good fight to be sure. 10/9 Marcus for the striking, making it 29/28 on my card.

Sean Pierson vs. Lance Benoist

TotT has Pierson with an inch in height and four in reach. Ref is Josh Rosenthal.

Round 1

They start the fight off with some wild striking, follwoed by a moment of clinching. Benoist seems to be getting the better of the striking but Pierson can take it, which seems to be the strategy. He catches a kick and knocks Benoist down with some shots before they get back to the feet and clinch. SPierson scores a couple mroe, breaks the distance, and goes back in for more as he was scoring good shots in the clinch. They work position as they exchange knees. Benoist is looking for elbows while Pierson throws knees and punches until they break again. Benoist has another kick cuaght an Pierson puts him back down, moving in fr ground and pound. Benoist has the legs in position for a triangel, misses on the first attempt and switches to an armbar on the second that is fended off. Peirson scores a couple of shtos before Benoist locks it up again, transitioning to what looks like an umaplata but Pierson sacrifices position to keep the submission at bay. Peirson throws a couple of blind shots and they break back to standing. Benoist looks exausted as they go back to the striking game. they clinch and Pierson eats some good hooks that wobble him. Pierson wdes in carefully looking to score some more before they clinch back up and exchnge a couple of shots before moving back to range, exchanging shot to the end of the round.

10/9 Pierson for more dominant performance.

Sean Pierson vs. Lance Benoist round 2

Peirson scores some good counters and shows intelligent striking as benoists misses with long strikes. Pierson connects with some good return shots and looks for a takedown in the clinch before breaking bake to distance. Pierson biding his time, waiting for the openings to land his shots. He scores some decent counters before throwing a leg kick and then eating a leg kick. Benoist shows the takedown and has it countered. They scramble and Pierson grabs a headlcok and controls the position, looking to move to dominant position before they stand and he lands a knee on the way out. Back to striking which Pierson has looked better at throughout the fight. Benoist is definitely losing this fight on the feet as he continues to look flat footed and continues to eat counters and followup shots in bunches from Pierson.

another 10/9 Pierson imo

Sean Pierson vs. Lance Benoist round 3

Pierson shows his striking superiority into round three as Benoist looks for kicks that are well countered and followed up to. Except for this most recent kick that buckles the leg of Pierson. It is only one though and Pierson follows up with good strikes of his own as he's done this entire fight. a slight eye poke slows things down for a ocuple of seconds as Pierson gives Benoist time to wipe out the sratch. They go right back to it with Benoist scoring a good elbow in the exchange. Pierson scores a couple of good punches in the follow up and counters with an over hand right off the straight punch. Pierson mixes it up with a takedown attempt but lets it go well before. More striking exchanges with Benoist getting a couple of good ones in on this exchange. He goes back to teh kicks and eats some counters for th eeffort. they continue to excahnge, both fighters looking tired. Benoist finally scores with a good shot that puts Benoist on wobbly legs and Benoist goes for broke. He flurries shots and eventually it goes to the ground with Benoist continuing the Blitzkrieg of shots. Pierson gives the back and Benoist looks for the choke, but Pierson gets it back to the feet. They finish the round witha couple more shots and that's all she wrote. Good on Benoist to go for broke, but unfortunately this one should be Pierson 29/28 for the first two rounds.

2012-09-22 09:02:36 PM
Benoit shouldve pressed him at the last 15 seconds, he wouldve gotten the ko. It all depends on who the judges gave round 2 to. I have it 29-28 Pierson, but wouldn't argue if it goes the other way.

I tend to be a bit more conservative in awarding 10-8 rounds, myself. I try to score like the judges do, and most are stingy with the 10-8.

Evan Dunham vs. TJ Grant

Tott has Grant with 2.5 inches in reach Ref is Dan Miragliotta.

grant starts the figh tmoving forward, but Dunham is the one backing him up and throwing the punches. He scores about one in every 4 or 5 as they flurry, with th grant scoring some good counter body shots. he also scores a good one to the temple and Dunham is cut. They continue to exchange and Grant is getting the better of the exchanges as Dunham is getting a little wobbly while continuing to be the one moving back. Grant stays calm and scores another good counter as Dunham moves in. They exchange and Grant eats a couple but dishes it right back. Dunham stumbles into a head kick but takes it well and circles away. They reset and go back to the flurries that have been going on through the first half of this round. A quick clinch but nothing as they break right away. Grant tries a head kick then catches a kick before having his own kick caught. THey continue to exchange, each continuing to throw and connect. Dunham grits his teeth after being hit and moves forward with punches before trying a flying knee that misses. Grant continues to be the one moving forward, but he is starting to eat more shots, and it shows as he istigates teh next clinch. He knows what he's doing though' scoring some good elbows beofre switching to a knee to the body and a couple of body punches off the break. Back to distance they continue the flurries, Dunham back to backing up before ducking the next attempt and scoring a double leg to half butterfly guard. He stays in close for a moment before standing, then dives back in trying to connect a couple of shots and pass guard as the round closes.

10/9 Dunham. Very even in the striking, and that takedown should tip it in his favor. Wouldn't be surprised to see Grant with that round though, very close

Evan Dunham vs. TJ Grant Round 2

They go back to it with Dunham moving back, but he catches the first kick of Grant and puts down a couple of punches. Dunham has the rhythm now and is countering successfully on Grant. he's putting together good counter 1-2 combinations as Grant moves in and follows his next with a good leg ick. Grant misses with a cuple in the next flurry nad has to clinch as Dunham connects inbetween. They break and go back to flurrying shots and Grant gets a good one in that opens up Dunhams forehead. Grant goes for a leg kick and backs up before they reexchange with grant connecting well to the body. The blood is pouring now but ref isn't stopping in as they continue to exchange well. Grant is starting to connect more and Duham shows the takedown to slow his progress. Grant pays him back in kind but eats some punches for the effort. Grant returns with his own and they're back to flurrying shots at one another. Left right straights land for grant and he circles away to the center. Dunham returns with less clean straights of his own but scores with a good hook. Grant moves back in and eats some more punches but Dunham is game as he continues to eat shots. Dunham is shaking out his face, triying to keep the blood out of his eyes. He's starting to eat more and more shots due to not being able to see, but then ducks down for a takedown and gets it into some more shots after they stand back up, getting a knockdown at the close of the round.

that cut could spell trouble, but Dunham looked like he stole the round at the end. Flip a coin though at this point.

2012-09-22 09:25:15 PM
That was a really hard round to score. I say 10-9 Grant again. Dunham's takedown was nice but he wasn't able to do much with it, Grant had a lot of nice shots.

Evan Dunham vs. TJ Grant Round 3

With the blood cleaned up for now they go back too it and Dunham connects with a lfurry of straight punches as Grant tries to score his own. The cut is already back as they continue firing away. Dunham scores a good hook and a good straight as he eats a body kick. They flurry again with grant scoring one and Dunham scoring one. They lcinch and work for position with Dunham pushing grant against the cage. Grant scores a glancing elbow on the break and they move back to the flurry of punches this fight has being dealing. Dunham scores a ocuple of good counters and eats an inside leg kick. Grant comes back with a knee to the body then eats a couple of punches, leg kicks, and eats a couple more. Dunham won't be denied his share of striking. They flurry again and Dunham hits acouple more punches, even as he's had his kick caught. tEhy reset off that and Grant gets a hook in before dunham returns with acouple of his own and a body kick. Grant eats a good jab and Dunham ducks the follow up but has the takedown stuffed. They reset to the center and Dunham misses with the knee. They exchang a couple more and Grant scores with a good right hand. Grant now changes it up with a takedown attempt but this is also stuffed. They flurry some more and Dunham has another kick caught. Grant tries to kick out the leg but he's too exausted and it shows with his hands on the knees. They go back to all hear punching before Duham tries, and fails, another takedown attempt. grant throwing the slower punches now and is eating more than his giving. One more takedown and Dunham has it this time, winding up in full guard with body shots to follow. He works posture and looks to put some head shots down with Grant shuffling away from him, triying to push off the hips. THis round is over as the scramble and flurry shots at one another on the ground to the end. 10/9 Dunham this one was obvious. with the better striking and the takedown. Probably a differing scorecard for each judge, at worst split for Dunham. I have it 30/27 for him

Serious fight of the night contender. I have 10-9 Dunham in the third, for a 29-28 Grant decision, but really it could easily go the other way.

2012-09-22 09:32:04 PM
That was a bloody good fight.

2012-09-22 09:32:39 PM
Glad to see that Grant won.

Good fight, decision wasn't bad. Surprised someone gave the third to Grant though.

Dammit. I just missed the frames where the Vaseline was flying.

That would have made a great gif.

C'mon vinny!!

2012-09-22 09:36:18 PM

Yeah. A bit ickier than the tooth that went flying in UFC 1.

2012-09-22 09:37:38 PM
I'm happy to see Vinny back because there just aren't many 205 BJJ guys in the UFC. I hope he doesn't get KO'd then cut.

Grant is a completely different fighter at 155. He's a serious contender there.

2012-09-22 09:45:53 PM
I'll give that one to Vinny.

2012-09-22 09:46:07 PM
10-9 Vinny.

Vinicius Magalhaes vs. Igor Pokrajac

Tott has Vinny with three inches in height but gives up an inch in reach if I saw that correctly. Ref is John McCarthy.

They touch to start the round. Igor puts out the first couple of punches before they clinch. Vinny scores a short knee and tries another as Igor grabs the body, trying to turn a takedown. They work for underhooks along the cage and Igor has the control, but is eating the knees. Vinny puts a good heel to the inside of Igors leg then shows the hip toss, which he gets with a little effort. Igor grabs half guard, but Vinny has the posture to score a good couple of shots before Igor can get to full guard . Cinny continues to stay standing though and breaks wrist control to score a ocuple of good punches. Igor relocks and stays calm before trying an elbow form the botttom. Igor tries to push the hips away but fails. He does score a couple fo good elbows from the bottom but vinny uses the motion to get to side control. he turns for posiiton into an armbar but Igor holds the defence and eventually stacks Vinny, forcing the break form vinny as to not exhaust himself. Vinny grabs full guard and works to rubber guard, scorring some good elbows from the defending Igor. Vinny shows the armbar but slips and Igor walks away from the ground. THey reset to striking with a minute left, both fighters a little winded from the strength on the ground game. THey reclinch and Igor scores a good elbow against the cage before switching to body shots. Vinny scores a knee and a second with tenseconds left. THey circle around and igor scores a couple of good puncehs that wobble vinny but too late as the round closes.

10/9 vinny for the ground work, but Igor might have stolen it, and possibly the fight if it carries into the next round, with that last second connection.

2012-09-22 09:46:35 PM
I've got it 10-9 Vinny for top control. Though he looks tired already.

2012-09-22 09:46:36 PM

2012-09-22 09:48:59 PM
Vinicius Magalhaes vs. Igor Pokrajac Round 2

Vinny looks fine in round 2's opener. Igor starts the round with an inside leg kick and Vinny returns with an outside that leads to the clinch in the center of the ring. They look for control and Vinny looks for knees. Igor trips Cinny for the takedown and Vinny scrambles for a triangle that has the posiiton but not the lockdown as the cage is in the way. Igor keeps him stacked and Vinny switches to the armbar, flipping igor over. He extends and Igor is tapping, a little too late as the damage looks to be done.

Vinny Magalhaes wins by Armbar submission in round 2.

Nice finish.

Either way, as one of those cheap bastards Rogan was making fun of (and one with sub-par streaming capabilities) I fear that may be all the fight action for me tonight. If by some miracle I get something working, I'll wander back. Have a fun main card, guys.

Hard telling. I'd have to look at it closely to see if it was worth attempting butterflies. If not, I'd guess stitches over staples for cosmetic reasons.

Just wait until he moves up into contender status. He'll get all conservative "wall and stall" like Guida did

2012-09-22 10:12:55 PM
I agree, though I think even giving him a punchers chance is generous at this point in his career. Jones handled the speed/rush combo pretty well when he fought Machida. Also, Machida has a lot more tools in the tool box than Belfort. I'm calling Jones by TKO by strikes in the second.

2012-09-22 10:16:42 PM
Cub Swanson Vs Charels Olivera

TotT has three inches in both height and reach. Ref is Yves Lavigne.

Round 1

Swanson starts the round with a leg kick at the two exchange jabs. Olivera tries a front kick and follows with a straigh tpunch that all miss. Feeling out process to be sure. They exchange again and Swanson scores a good counter. he tries to follow and Olivera ducks it, scoring a takedown and winding up eventually into half guard. THey grapple for a minute before Swanson scrambles back to the feet. Slow striking exchnage as both are keeping good range and defense. Olivera grabs a clinch, tries a knee and follows with a failed takedown. Very even, but those grapple attemtps should help to score it olivera. AS I say that Olivera takes a shot to the temple. Have the lumberjacks call TIMBER! because olivera took his time falling down on that shot. Swanson Stalks but ref stops any more shots, waving it off as Olivera finally goes out of it.

Swanson wins by KO in round 1, more than likely ko of the night.

eh, once I hit two and five I stopped caring about my picks. I wanted vinny to win, didn't care who won olivera swanson because both would be a good win. Dunham put up fotn performance so you can't be mad at that loss and the others were to quick to predict. The rest of them are either unimportant to ap oint (hamil should win, jones should win) or will be good either way they go (stann bisping, flyweights)

Why the hell doesn't Matt take his back?

He's had so many opportunities.

Because he's a lame, boring, craptastic, piece-of-shiat fighter without any killer instincts, mostly.

Clear 30-27 victory for Hamill. Crappy fight though.

I just went to get a beer from the freezer. I noticed that the bottle of vodak that the woman has been 'sipping' on was half empty.

Went outside to smoke and by the time I got back inside she's puking.

Close round. I'll go 10-9 Stann

Now we see if Stann has improved his ground game

2012-09-22 11:04:20 PM
That was a good sweep, didn't know stann had that in him. Bisping has a good ground game though and I don't think Stann has enough top experience to overcome that.

2012-09-22 11:06:05 PM
Stann is getting tired

2012-09-22 11:07:25 PM
we'll put 'em at dead even with two rounds in the book. Nice technical fight with some pleasant surprises.

10-9 Bisping. 19-19

"Farking great job Mike"

2012-09-22 11:08:24 PM
10-9 Bisping, so 19-19 for me.

Stann needs to get more time with some grapplers, man. His ground work isn't great and his TDD is nearly nonexistent.

I'm pumped for this fight. Demetrious Johnson-Uncle Creepy #1 was awesome. Benavidez is awesome, but in his only flyweight fight, he was up against inferior competition. He kicked some ass at bantamweight and took Cruz to 5 rounds, winning a couple of them.

And again fark off canada.

2012-09-23 12:00:57 AM

On the plus side, I picked Jones to beat Belfort, so maybe I'm wrong there, too...

A hard fought, well earned belt for Mr. Johnson, but something tells me this division will be quiet chaotic for years to come. If not for the early celebration by McCall in the first semifinal match, who knows what the outcome could have been. Expect these three to fight each other often, with varied results.

Joe must love having the flyweight division. They make him look tall.

I don't know about you guys but 125 is going to be a very boring division. Like watching 10 years old kids fight.

Jones and Belfort looked like an NBA player and a 40-something janitor at the weigh-ins. This fight is going to be sad.

I'm convinced Matt Hammill was coaxed into coming out of retirement because Jones refuses to move up to heavyweight, he's already beaten all the LHW's except Glover Texeira who hasn't earned a shot yet, and they want to work the "the only guy Jones has ever lost to" angle.

There's a really nice sweep from the bottom that lets you roll into a side-arm-in-choke that all starts with your opponent putting a forearm on your throat.

I don't think he'd necessarily have to beat any or all of those guys. If they decided they want him to fight Jones and Jones wants to fight him, they could feed him good match ups. Or, put another way, who did Vitor Belfort beat to get a shot at Jones?

Regaring the side kick to the leg Joe and Goldie keep talking about, it's the same as the oblique kick he normally throws, except with the opposite leg because he's fighting a southpaw and the whole point is to attack the lead leg of his opponent so he can't plant on it.

In other words he doesn't have that "any fight, anywhere" mentality that I think champions and fighters should have, he's cold and calculating when he has his matches and for the most part it seems almost routine. Maybe it's his opponents, but I think Jones needs a fight where he knows he's gonna be in for a tough night not a fight where his elbows will come to the rescue.

He's huge, that's why. And he has the longest reach in the entire UFC. If Fedor can be legendary at 235 pounds, Jones can successful at that weight as well since that about what he'd weigh if he didn't need a weight cut.

And what the hell does being white have anything to do with anything?

cookiefleck: So who can beat Jones?

That's not an answer so much as one guy's hypothetical gameplan.

LegacyDL: In other words he doesn't have that "any fight, anywhere" mentality that I think champions and fighters should have, he's cold and calculating when he has his matches and for the most part it seems almost routine. Maybe it's his opponents, but I think Jones needs a fight where he knows he's gonna be in for a tough night not a fight where his elbows will come to the rescue.

I expect that you feel the same about GSP?

For what, being cocky? Drinking and driving? I'm curious what the worst thing he's done is.

Add me to that list. What has he done to make him a worthless piece of shiat?

I don't see how someone can hate Jones, he is a class guy that's just talented as hell. I want someone to beat him but damn I have a hard time hating him.

He just went 3 rounds with a dislocated elbow, what do you mean?

I honestly don't have any idea what you just said.

No offense.

That's something people will never agree on. I don't find him classy, you do, we'll never agree. I do agree he's a phenomenal fighter.

I think people just hate Jones because a) he's good/haters gonna hate; and c) he's "bigger" than everyone else in his weight class. It's just like how people used to hate on Shaq: "I'd be NBA MVP if I was 7'-1" and 300 lbs."

All in all, a good night of fights and pleasantly surprising main event.

Time will beat him. It's hard to say who will be standing there when it happens.

Jones is a farking awesome fighter and a farking hell of a human being. If you don't get that, it's your loss.

I'm not saying he's a bad fighter or a bad human being. It's just that since he refused to fight Sonnen I look at him differently now. On one hand you have a guy who says "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face" and on the next hand you have a guy who refused to fight because 3 days wasn't enough time to train.

Just boggles my mind, if you claim that as a fighter you adapt to any situation combined with the fact that you are both champion and obviously in good shape then a fight is a fight (Not that I'm saying Sonnen would have beat him or anything, but it's the principle that counts).

He probably lost Klippoklondiker money. Nothing like seeing a guy bet on sports and witnessing his rage firsthand in the following hours after losing.

The whole rashad Evans saga kinda made him look bad.. it made me appreciate rampage, somehow.

You do realize just because you weight a certain amount doesn't mean that you will be successful at fighting at that weight? Nobody fights in the weight class that they would be in at their walk around weight. It is just stupid to suggest that because somebody walks around at one weight, that they should fight at that weight.

I was mostly joking, but I do think it takes a certain sense of white entitlement for you to think it's your job to decide where another man belongs, particularly a black man. Where does Stefan Struve belong?

Testiclaw: GavinTheAlmighty: He's the best. Deal with it.

He's a wicked fighter.

But I still hate him and think he's a piece of shiat who should die in a fire.

But yes, the best LHW currently.

Why is he such a horrible human being? Because he wouldn't take a fight on 8 days notice? Is that the measuring stick now for human decency?

What about the time he ran down that mugger and beat the shiat out of him? That's overruled by not taking a fight on 8 days notice?

Fedor fought at 235, Cro Cop fought at 235, Cain fights at 240. Jones can put on 5 pounds and fight at 235. He's already got a longer reach than everyone other than 6'11" Stefan Struve. I'm not saying he should've started at heavyweight, but it is time to move there now. Who else would you have him fight? What is left at 205 for him? he's already beaten everyone. If he wants to be the greatest of all time like he says then he has to continue getting challenged and that ain't going to happen at LHW.

Fighting Shogun, Rashad, Rampage, Machida, and Bader isn't good enough? He makes great fighters look like chumps. That's a testament to how amazing he is, not that he carefully chooses opponents.
