(Gainesville Sun)   41-pound cat named 'Skinny' up for adoption. Ironic tag would have been used except the cat ate it, so she gets a bonus Caturday thread all her own instead   (gainesville.com) divider line 8

So my friend posted this and I just had to share because right after my sisters Jamama as being the most evil cat comes Ming The Merciless (the one who tried to drag a friends baby under the bed where she drags all her food to be eaten later...)

shortymac: Go roll around in some poison ivy sometime and see what "all natural" gets you.

Heh!

Exactly. All natural doesn't necessarily mean it's good for you. Peach pits, for example, contain a form of cyanide. And obviously a lot of people, myself included, are allergic to various plants, which again are all natural. Why should it be any different for flies?

Mister Peejay: Mr. Potatoass: A cat that size could top off a litter box with one dump.

We had a cat that was shaped like a basketball, with a softball-sized head and four stubby little legs.

Yes. Yes it could.

Worst part? He couldn't clean himself. One of the other cats used to do it for him, until my mom got him to stop doing that because you can lick your friends, and you can lick your butt, but you shouldn't lick your friends' butts.

Big fat cat who can't clean himself, no other cats helping him out, see where this is going? For years afterwards, they had to follow him around with a Kleenex and periodically wipe his butt.

My kitty Zuma seems to be unwilling or unable to keep his own butt clean so I grab him & use a few Boogie Wipes Link to take care of the job. It seems to shame him into cleaning his own butt for a few days! I almost always use the scented ones on him and he always has to make sure he gets rid of that scent! I figure something safe enough for human kids will be safe on my fur-kids.

NOPE it's the rare 2 for 1 caturday!

The flea infection in my house is gone, but now I have to deal with finding a new place with 4 cats and a tortoise. :( Finding a house in Toronto that's still convenient commute to work is such a hassle.

I'd rather not downside into an apartment, even a 3 bed would be crowded for 3 adults and 4 cats.

I had to deal with a fly infestation at work that set off another co-worker's and I's allergies, everyone we talk to is passing the buck. In fact my boss called a maintenance guy and he said "How can they be allergic to flies? They're all natural!"

Go roll around in some poison ivy sometime and see what "all natural" gets you.

My youngest, Emperor Ming, 16 months. He had been begging for attention and raised his arm right as I took the photo.

I wanted an excuse to post this. I always have lots of bird seed out on the patio so lots of birds will come by to give the cats a good show-they love it. I also have a humming bird feeder, and it gets lots of action. I was bored and taped this little keyfob video camera to the cord holding up the feeder and filmed this, kind of cool

You must have heard me wondering where the picture was for the article! :) She is so pretty! I hope someone adopts her and helps her out!
