Always wanted to write a great book. Have made my living writing marketing quips to sell products and wrote music and gaming reviews awhile back.

But the book.

That is still eluding me.

I've started collaborating with others & it's helping me move forward. Email me some of your ideas or something. Writing on your own can be torturous.

I'd be happy writing marketing bits at this point but have no idea how to get into it.

2011 iMac, maxed, and I use it for video editing. Wat are you doing that the 2010 is already waining? Or is the shine just gone? :)

The doggie hurt himself somehow and he's in pain. But we can't take him to the ER vet because moving him seems to hurt him really really bad and I can't get the mobile vet until probably 10 am at the earliest. Earlier we thought he'd just tweaked his hip as he tends to do and gave him a Rimadyl but it's not helping at all and he's crying every time he adjusts himself in bed. I don't know what to doooooo.

Curious, what do you do with your computer? Have you thought about getting a tablet?

I use two, basically set up as somewhat of a work station. PC with large flat screen monitor in front of me, which I use on fark the majority of time. My son's old laptop (L-shaped desk) to my left which is usually open to gmail for most of the day. I also watch online content & DVDs on the laptop as well.

With my vision problems a tablet wouldn't work for me. I've tried using my son's tablet and it was very hard to try and read anything for more than a few minutes without putting a lot of strain on my eyes, especially the right one which does most of the work.

Tall is overrated. You would not BELIEVE the shiat you run into. And falling hard hurts. Bad.

I have no idea why, but since Lion, my machine has lost its snappiness. It takes longer to do actions such as booting. I format and reinstall my OS every 4 months or so, but even after a fresh install, its still sluggish. Plus the AMD Radeon 5750 card I have doesnt do AirPlay and no Thunderbolt

I have a friend with the same issue. It is amazing to me how inaccesible tablets have proven to be for people with disabilities. You have a portable, powerful device that could be life-changing if properly set up.

I can't tell you what to do and I realize it's painful for him to be moved, but I'd take him to the ER vet instead of letting him wait until tomorrow.
