And this is after what his wife said yesterday,

Biden 2016, book it. Done.

If you didn't make a goddamn typo this would be up on my Facebook RIGHT NAO!

I'm thinking Warren 2016. I don't know, but she's got the populist thing down; her only trouble is appeal to rubes.

RedPhoenix122: BarkingUnicorn: How could we NOT give this guy four more years? :-)

I'm looking forward to 2016 when he runs for the big chair.

He's like your favorite uncle, the one that always brings good jokes and presents. Not to be confused with the creepy uncle.

Couldn't have put it better myself. I love how much the Conservative media likes to play up his "gaffes," and then when they turn to see who's laughing with them, it's Biden. Biden is the one who laughs.

Warren running in 2016 hinges on whether she wins her Senate race this fall (which, admittedly for the first time in a while is looking good). If she wins, I'd book her for a presidential bid in 2016; if not, she'll have to find an alternate venue of office-holding and keeping herself in the public image, which will likely push her presidential bid (which I'm going to go ahead and say will happen) until 2020.

Personally, I have my doubts whether Biden will run in 2016. As of the election, he'll be 74 which would make him the oldest president over Reagan, and while his health is currently good that's no guarantee it'll stay good for the next four years. And, one must take into consideration what may or may not happen in the next three years politically. I have the feeling that if Obama loses this November (unlikely), or wins, with his then-44-year career in politics he may just decide to retire or move onto other things in the private sphere.

The only thing better than a hot chick in a cheerleader outfit is a hot chick in a cheerleader outfit walking towards you in your muscle car while carrying two ice cream cones.

Joe Biden gets this.

/Plus the whole "marriage equity is teh good, violence against women is teh bad" thing and a bunch more, of course, but it's really his positions on ice cream, hot chicks and muscle cars that speaks to me on a gut/visceral level.

He could do well on the college circuit. Seriously, wouldn't you love to have him as a poli-sci professor?

I'd rather have him as a drinking buddy.
