come back and try it once more, this time with more meaning

Taxing the rich more solves everything. You seem very upset that I'm now agreeing with you.

Are you ever on topic, you dreadful bore?

GAT_00: Issa openly admitted that he didn't have a case but was making one because of politics. Why not do the same to Waters? They must have absolutely nothing on her.

this is the house of representitives, they don't need silly thing as proof. what they do need is an audience, but issa is hogging the spotlight.

Maxine,

You've been a congresswoman for over 20 years. Thank you for your service. Please home and get a job or retire. You are almost 75. Take it easy. Please take all the other Senators and Representatives of both parties that have served for 20 years or more with you. The country would appreciate it.

Lost Thought 00: mainstreet62: Where is the Mitt Romney 2011 tax thread?

The most interesting bit is how he deliberately skipped taking obvious deductions so that his effective tax rate would go from 13% to 14%, which I guess somehow he think that will make people like him more

Didn't Romney say that if he didn't take every deduction he could that would make him unfit for office?

barneyfifesbullet: She is definitely a witch. One of the crookiest crooks in Congress.

Prove it. The House Ethics Committee can't. If you can, then why not let them know? I'm sure they'd love to hear about it. Or you could go to a media outlet and make a killing selling your proof to them, so they can break the news.

If being on the supreme court and hearing a case directly involved with your own wife's lobbying group's goals isn't conflict of interest, I'm not exactly sure why this happened.

First, if the Republicans are dropping this, it's because they ain't got nothing, period.

Second, from TFA: "The Waters case has been marked by an extraordinary series of missteps, leaks and partisan infighting. The long delay in resolving the matter has damaged the panel's standing both inside and outside Congress."

Their 'standing' has been less than zero for quite a while now. Just digging a deeper hole.

lennavan: If only there was something voters could do about this and the douchebags who refuse to call her on her corruption.

Voters in her district would rather have a coprrupt rep who has seniority to funnel their way than a clean rep with no seniority.

We need a better system for going after these scumbags.

Interesting given her political affiliation.
