More evidence that no matter how cool or good you think you look now, in 5+ years you will look at a
picture of yourself and think "Why the hell did I EVER think that was a good look"?

ok, i looked at your picture, without reading your postscript, and thought, what is this person blathering about? both pictures look great... than I scrolled down and realized, this picture was not in support of your argument.

/ I look and dress the exact same as I did 5 years ago... even have some of the same clothes.

As a Green Bay Packer fan, I am slightly disappointed that we don't have our own cheerleaders...on the other hand I am slightly appreciative that we steal a local college's cheerleading squad for the games.

We do use collegiate squads for home games...which is kind of hotter than professional barbie dolls IMHO.

shoes get worn down. shirts get irremovable stains. jeans get holes. that's pretty much why I don't have many clothes from 5 years ago.

I was watching the Redskins/Rams game last week with my parents, and my mom wondered if the Rams cheerleaders were still called the Huggable Ewes...

/they might excite some fans in certain rural parts of the country if they brought back that name

Hypothermia can be a very real concern there, even during baseball season.

Arkanaut: vudukungfu: That's a man, baby.

Welcome to Buffalo, where the men are men, and so are the women.

Some of the Jills came to a restaurant I worked at in the late 90's, and they were most definitely not men.

2012-09-21 01:50:31 PM
I'd say most of the older pictures they look fine. Give them the same hair stylist, make-up artist, and personal trainer that today's cheerleading squads have and you would have the same thing. (except Buffalo Jill obviously. You'd need a woman to take over for her).

That being said, this is more of a "fashion then and now" slideshow than anything else.

Ah, pro cheerleaders: ladies who spend countless hours in the gym and follow a strict diet to achieve perfectly fit and toned bodies, and then ruin them with horrible fake tits.

You old fashion-plate you.

2012-09-21 02:43:03 PM
So why do pro teams have cheerleaders, anyhow? Are teenage boys really that hard up for spank material in the interwebs age?

//huh huh, hard

2012-09-21 02:43:35 PM
Some of those ladies aged pretty well.

2012-09-21 02:59:52 PM
What's that goat doing with the Rams' mascot?

2012-09-21 05:36:17 PM
So cheerleaders 15-20 years ago were actually cheerleaders while now they're a "dance team" that is made up of people who have "too much self respect" for stripping, but they secretly want to be strippers?

Somebody call Ric Romero!

Also, anybody else notice that the current "cheerleader" uniforms pretty much all look the same? Short shorts, cleavage showing, midriff baring top that's a little more than a bikini (but not by much) and knee boots? Not that I'm complaining, but it's all very similar

MFAWG: I remember having a couple of Raiderettes as customers, and they were by far the skankiest looking bunch I've seen from any distance inside 25 feet.

Met a couple of them promoting something or other on one of my rare forays inside a shopping mall. Thick makeup. Not that different from what's working for the Warriors. Certainly better-than-average looking, in a very plasticized way. There's a short list of acquaintances I'd probably do first, given the option and a ball gag.

I worked a summer with the brunette on the right. Dad was a big up in the company. Flirted a little bit, but she ended up dating a Verizon sales man ten years older than her. I fail at life.

2012-09-23 11:41:49 AM
Rams' cheerleaders were/are(?) the Embraceable Ewes, not Huggable Ewes. It's a play on "Embraceable You," a Gershwin song from the 1920s.
