Wow. I just got it. "HER"story. Amazing. 'Cause "history" has "HIS" in it and that's totally what history is about.... him, Him, HIM!!!! Yes, let's fight sexism by being sexist.

Shiat, that reminds me; I forgot to beat a woman, today. In fact, I haven't beat a women in my life. I guess I should start so I can play the role given to me by HERstory.

/fark off.

So she... what? Found a few pictures of women posing closely together? And that makes them lesbians? Because if that's the case, then I think my girlfriend and all of her friends are some sort of lesbian coven. Them and every woman who has taken a picture with another woman...

Some of these may not actually show lesbians. Rather, displays of same-sex affection in photographs used to be relatively normal - concepts such as homosexuality as a trait, rather than a lifestyle choice, are relatively modern, so the sight of two people of the same gender posed together didn't cause people to bat an eye:

Women posing together in photos != lesbians.

Without knowing who, exactly, these are, you'd be hard pressed to prove that being in male drag meant that they were lesbians. Especially the ones who are male impersonators. Those were very popular entertainment in the music halls & vaudeville. Check out Vesta Tilley. Link

Yep, pretty much this. Oh, and cross-dressing pictures were the LOLcats of their day. I wonder what the herstorian would make of the 16-1800s common use of the terms 'my love' , or 'honey' between men who were friends but not family members. Still see it (hear it, rather) in Ireland and parts of the UK. People also used to kiss more- the French and the Middle Eastern cultures still do. It ain't usually sexual.

Ah, superimposing modern values onto things not created in the same matrix. Were some of these people gay? Probably. Is the photo convincing proof? Aw hell no.

The ship yard photos from the 1940s were probably not lesbians, I'm sure some Rosie the Riveters were gay but most were not a lot of women took manufacturing jobs in the 1940s because a little skirmish called WWII. In the author's defense it only lasted 4 years and isn't covered in most history books.

4 years!?!? How did they get that done so quickly? They must have been fighting like 15 bad guys, right?

And I agree that they do but this is not history. It's already been partially debunked upthread.
