Well first he has to actually defeat Marquez in their upcoming rematch (or at least have the judges gift wrap a decision for him again)

And even if this fight does occur, it should have taken place five or six years ago when Mayweather was closer to 30 than he is to 40.

Not a boxing fan, but it really seems that Mayweather know's he's going to get his ass handed to him and is just plane scared. Yet, from what I've heard about him he's a big talker.

And my interest in this fight has died down, but not completely. But I think if it's not done in the next year, boxing will finally be dead in terms of interest.

Last 5 Pacquiao fights went the distance and he danced a whole lot during them. You're probably talking about Pac-man prior to 2010 when he did stand up and fight. Now he's just like Mayweather where he uses his superior techinical fighting to win rounds.

Dead thread, but...I hope Mayweather never fights him. He will always have that asterisk on his "undefeated" record.
