Steady there, chief. Not saying what happened was right on any level or should be dismissed as belief in wood nymphs, just saying that at the end of the day I'm not entirely convinced that the punishment fits the crime. These people weren't permanently disfigured with acid, or had their sex organs removed with a steak knife.

But I will say this much: if you don't think that God understands that your hair is a bit short through no fault of your own, and that your faith is as strong as ever, maybe you are not giving God enough credit.
