The study makes clear that a poor sense of smell does not by itself mean that someone is a psychopath. Olfactory dysfunction can also occur in schizophrenia, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease, it notes.

Whatever, your`re still crazy if you can`t smell stuff.

"The OFC is a front part of the brain responsible for controlling impulses, planning and behaving in line with social norms."

Y' know what a lot of people with poor impulse control and poor planning and behavioral skills do?
They smoke.
And I saw no indication that the study contolled for that.

Same boat here, can't smell really anything that isn't overwhelming. Had allergies for most of my life, the noise spray does a number on the sense of smell.

Mehmet Mahmut and Richard Stevenson of the Department of Psychology at Macquarie University trialled the olfactory skills of 79 individuals, aged 19 to 21, who had been diagnosed as non-criminal psychopaths and lived in the community.

...in other news, the Macquarie University community has at least 79 individuals between the ages of 19 to 21 who have been diagnosed as non-criminal psychopaths.
