Why don't you just take responsibility for yourself and get your own health insurance, you deadbeat?

It was pretty awesome when the Republicans shot down the Veterans' Jobs Bill. There is no point in holding votes because one side isn't interested in good governance.

They've gotten so used to the Democrats rolling over and taking it, all they can say when the Dems fight back is "Whaahh! You're not playing fair!!" because fair to them means they win without fighting.

No, they're not. It's worse. The man's a mormon biship. He is truly and utterly internalised on the ideas of kindness and forgiveness and niceness that the Mormon church has so thoroughly dispensed. Reid knows there's a time and a place for righteous rebuke, and so the time he uses it, the time he wields it, is when he's been pushed, and the rest of the time, all he uses is that most toxic of religious weapons - intense passive aggression. He didn't need to raise his voice - he didn't need to do tricks on this one. Just... make a simple statement that wasn't about to provide outrage or sound or fury.

It's like boxing fog.

See here folks? A typical right wing moron. They can't debate the issues because either they know nothing about the issues or, alternately, they know that facts have a liberal bias. Instead what they do is bring in totally unrelated crap that they heard on Rush or some similar fact-free wingnut broadcast. You'll vote for Romney and keep shiatting threads up with stuff that you know absolutely know nothing about. By this point your type isn't even fun any more. It's a chore to have to scroll past your stupid bullshiat.

the_geek: I don't really know anything about Scott Brown so I can't say anything about him one way or the other. I do, however, know a little bit about Warren and hope she finds a place where she can do some good, whether it's the seat she's currently running for or not. If she loses, I hope Obama appoints her to something fitting her areas of expertise.

Tried that, the Party of Hell No wouldn't let her in, 'cos they were so busy redefining rape and de-funding NPR and Planned Parenthood, you know, job creation. So she's taking one of their seats. Rather fitting, I'd say, and I hope she makes the lives of all those sorry P'sOS that blocked her a living hell.

/derp

she handed him his ass, and the other media claimed brown came out polished.

That will happen. The media fawned over Bush after he didn't totally embarrass himself.

And Palin......don't forget Palin.

She winked! It was awesome!

I remember when she brought out the "say it ain't so, Joe" line like she had been waiting for the chance the entire night. She had a look on her face, a smug grin, where she actually appeared to have thought she won the debate because of that line. It was one of the few times I've actually rolled my eyes at what someone had said on TV. I expected that line to get slammed the next morning. Nope, everyone was saying that she did a great job because she didn't get massacred.

Good luck with that.

Guntram Shatterhand: Why would he put Paul Ryan as VP in the first place? Why would he back outrageous statements alienating half America's population? Why would he refuse to release his tax statements? There is no logic in Romney's head. At this point, he's doing what 'feels' right, and it's working as well as a number of other Republican policies that have destroyed this nation.

Romney is desperate as hell.

Maybe Romney wants to take Republicans down.

I'm a little buzzed and I was just thinking this - what if Mitt is actually a good guy? What if he got out of business 20 years ago because it made him sick to his stomach? He's already embedded in the GOP, and he can't flip and run as a Dem this year, but he sure as shat can take a lot of money from the derp and sabotage from within. Yeah, he always thought he could do good as a president, but since the right-wing has become so unhinged, he knows he can do far better by taking them out.

Think about it.

He's acting like a plutocrat fat cat that no one can relate too.

His staffer went on fox news to discredit an "over the top" pro Obama ad by saying "well, if they were in Massachusetts (getting the equivalent of Obamacare) they wouldn't have a problem!"

When video of him stating it would be easier if he was latino, he goes in black face in front of a latino audience.

All of a sudden, information is released that his campaign doesn't have money, as they're starting to really trail in the polls, and his staff gets a bonus!

And that's just what I can come up with off the top of my head.

He's probably scared shiatless that he's only trailing by 4% right now.

If this is true, he will get more unhinged, and he will intentionally release tax returns showing 0% taxes paid. And after he loses, he will instantly become sane again.

itll be a fun sobering up if it happens. i still pretty much expect a level of infighting that will split the party after this blowout, as i have been hoping since the mccain palin disaster, but that hasnt happened yet.
but mainstreaming the crazy has had its impact on indies and it wont get better until they get their heads out of their asses with the tea party crazies.
