JerseyTim: There are still hipsters in Williamsburg?
WI241TH: Subby's probably referring to Midtown Detroit. Only the stupidest and bravest hipsters venture there.
UberDave: Lower Westheimer
jaylectricity: OK, I'm ready to be a hipster. If people are willing to go this far to make fun of hipsters, there must be something really awesome there somewhere.
Skid Roe v. Wade Boggs: Kind of surprised Logan Square isn't listed.
SnakeLee: JerseyTim: There are still hipsters in Williamsburg? Is it Brooklyn Heights now? I guess I am out of touch with NYC
JPenman: Pearl district at #5? There are a dozen more hipstery neighborhoods in Portland than the farking yuppie Pearl.
dumbobruni: those priced out of williamsburg and greenpoint have moved into Bushwick, Ridgewood, and Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Alphakronik: The place subby is talking about is the Hawthorne District in Portland, Oregon. The Pearl isn't hipster, its the richy rich place that you can't find parking in.
Ikam: JPenman: Pearl district at #5? There are a dozen more hipstery neighborhoods in Portland than the farking yuppie Pearl.I was under the impression it was the entire damn city./you mean Portlandia isn't real?
Ikam: dumbobruni: those priced out of williamsburg and greenpoint have moved into Bushwick, Ridgewood, and Bedford-Stuyvesant.Hipsters have been moving to Bushwick for awhile now. Why? Who knows.
Nadie_AZ: Meh. Real hipsters don't go to those places anymore. They are too popular.
Osomatic: Yeah, this list has definitely been OTBE'd, certainly in Los Angeles. These days real hipsters can't afford to live in Sliver Lake. They've been heading to Echo Park for a while, to the point where now it's Echo Park that's getting a bit too gentrified. I hear Atwater Village and Westlake thrown around as the next big hipsterhoods, but who knows.
fragMasterFlash: Ah yes Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood, where young people go to become homeless drug addi...erm..hipsters. Yes, hipsters is the word I was looking for.
hulk hogan meat shoes: They all moved to Logan Square or Pilsen.
