I doubt it. The set is just some office. The cast would have done it as a favor to Mary McCormick and her sister.

Everyone, even the crew, donated their time. The campaign paid for the insurance and the food and incidentals. Cost a total of about $5000.

This came about because McCormack's sister, Mary McCormack, was on The West Wing from 2004-2006.

Ah, ok. Was wondering how the hell a random candidate got this.

There's probably a better chance of reanimating John Spencer's corpse than there is of getting Rob Lowe to do something cool for free.

Ummm...

That said, I have long wanted, and likely always will want, to have CJ's babby. Go Bears!

"Explain this to me like I'm a two year old, and try to do it like you're not." Awesome.

However, stuff like this always makes me appreciate how much work and effort and polish goes into the real thing....

This things really moves along like an early episode. Anybody else think Sorkin had a hand in crafting the script?

Closer to $1000 and that's only if they had to rent any equipment.

Too cutsey. It's obviously heavily influenced by his style, but no. Also probably not because McCormack's character came on to the show long after Sorkin left.

How is it that Whitford looks that much older? He didn't look that old on The Good Guys. By the way, it's on Netflix. Watch it. It's hilarious.

Best line, but a good example of why Sorkin had no hand in writing it. That plus Bradley Whitford's (who has REALLY swelled)'s long speech which was too campaign-list and not enough soaring rhetoric.

Depends on how much the actors got paid. I'm guessing they were happy to work with each other again for a lot less than their usual asking fees.

I'm pretty sure the article would've said so if he had. It's hardly a secret that Sorkin's a Democrat and I don't think the chance to work with his former employees would have upset him too much. Tommy Schlamme pretty clearly didn't direct.

I was chuckling, but then he said "Oh, it's an APOCALYPSE now?" and I just lost it.

Farking brilliant. Never saw an episode of the West Wing- don't watch any TV- but I might have to make an exception of the show was that tightly written.

I am in the same boat, and was looking for WW on Netflix streaming yesterday. Of course, it wasn't on there. I ended up just buying the complete series (all 7 seasons in one box) on Amazon for $140 last night. I can't wait for it to arrive.

IMHO, the first four seasons are far better than this.

WW's early seasons have heaps of glorious dialogue that flows so well. It's fantastic.

Wow, he really does. I was wondering just the other day how it was possible he had barely aged from Billy Madison to Studio 60, but I guess it all caught up with him.

Whitford probably divorced after finding out his wife used to doink a meth kingpin

True, but he'd gone pretty white by the end of the show. I don't know if that was natural aging or good makeup.

The Good Guys was a fantastic show. Whitford was excellent. Everything about it screamed, "This show cannot survive beyond one season," though. It was one of those that didn't have broad enough appeal to get many viewers, but the viewers it did get loved it and couldn't get enough of it.

//Yeah, I was shocked at his weight gain, too. I didn't even think he looked that bad in his episode of Parks & Rec.

Hard to say. He was white at the beginning of season 7 (in the flashforward), so maybe he had been white for a while but they were dying his hair?
