And we're going to KEEP introducing him until you LIKE HIM. So get over yourselves already!

Next: Introducing Mitt Rmoney to Amercia.

2012-09-20 11:25:04 AM
Can we introduce Mitt to FPMITA prison for tax evasion?

2012-09-20 11:25:38 AM
Who?

2012-09-20 11:25:42 AM
I'm afraid he might get Santorum all over the place if he keeps getting introduced like this.

/got nuth'n

2012-09-20 11:25:49 AM
Start small. Let's introduce Mitt to one state at a time, maybe a county instead.

2012-09-20 11:26:39 AM
Why is he orange?

I'm Mitt Romney, biatches, and I'm all you got left.

Why is he orange?

That's just his Hispanic heritage.

2012-09-20 11:27:59 AM
The aim: Switch the emphasis from Washington policies to personal pocketbooks.

Instead of talking about policies, Mitt Romney would prefer to eyefark your wallet.

2012-09-20 11:28:25 AM
FTFA: "After taking a beating for comments he privately wishes he never made and from conservative critics he wishes he could muzzle, Mitt Romney and his campaign are settling on a rescue plan to show more of him - in ads, speeches and campaign appearances."

Your plan - it's pretty shiatty.

The trick to spray Asian is to get some of it in your eyes for that authentic squint.

It is not a sequel it's a reboot.

So he plans on doing damage control by actually campaigning for once? What a weird campaign

2012-09-20 11:30:49 AM
Yeah! It's brilliant! Put his smirking face and dead eyes on every press release, every video. It'll go over swimmingly no doubt since the problem up until now has been that we just haven't seen enough of the guy in his billions of dollars worth of ads. America simply can't get enough of that Mitt Romney. He's goddamn incendiary in his popularity and the more his ideas are exposed the more we all fall in love with him because he's our better

Brilliant tack.

2012-09-20 11:30:51 AM
Its like the supply side philosophy. It has been a failure so far we just need more of it.

Makes sense.

WHAT DOESN'T MATTER:

• The controversy over his statement after the killings in Libya

Read more: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0912/81428_Page3.html#ixzz271ZLq9 eB

It mattered a lot. It was a chance for Romney to look more presidential and convince undecided voters, and he failed. Treading water isn't going to do it for Romney.

2012-09-20 11:31:02 AM
With the mideast going to hell in a hand basket, arsenic in the rice, the economy down the tubes and food prices rising, it's time to give Romney a chance. It's time for America to come together. ;)

2012-09-20 11:31:10 AM
I think we would do better introducing America to Mitt Romney. He really does not seem get get us.

TDWCom29: So he plans on doing damage control by actually campaigning for once? What a weird campaign

Yeah. Their statement is purely devoid of substance. They're just going ahead with what they're doing anyways and calling it "a solution." Mitt's campaign seems to be at an all time low right now, and they've got NOTHING.

2012-09-20 11:32:49 AM
I'd like to introduce Mitt Romney to the back of my hand.
/over and over again.

2012-09-20 11:32:53 AM
Romney was never running to win. Being a presidential candidate, even a failed one, essentially shields him from any and all criminal prosecution indefinitely.

2012-09-20 11:32:54 AM
If I knew for a fact Romney loses in November then I could sit back and enjoy his stupidity, but see, I lived in the year 2004 where I saw George W. Bush get re-elected. It sounds trite, but anything is possible.

2012-09-20 11:32:57 AM
Uh, Mr. Romney? the Buccaneers had a better shot with winning on the game's last play vs. the Giants than you do of the White House. And the Bucs still came off looking better to the public than you did. Enough already.

Maybe cons will stay home in droves on election night and also hurt the chances of GOP incumbents.

2012-09-20 11:33:09 AM
He's going to focus on his plan for a "Stronger Middle Class". Which of course he defines as running up to making $250k/year...

Sorry, but introducing him more isn't going to do any good. The 'Base' has already seen enough of him (but will likely vote for him anyway), the 'Liberals' won't vote for him under any circumstances, and the undecided voters will probably only be more turned off by him the more they're exposed to him.

MITT! LEAVE AMERICA A LOAN!!!

2012-09-20 11:34:39 AM
A campaign official said: "In a lot of the current survey data, there's a desire among the electorate to know more about Mitt in terms of how he would lead.

I like that they needed survey data to figure this out.

Mitt Romney: Not ignorant of America's actual values, but #1 with those ignorant of America's actual values.

1) Sabre rattle.
2) Invest 250 million in oil companies.
3) Ultimatums.
4) Invade countries
5) No bid contracts.
6) Profit.

This is a repeat from 2003-2008.

no no, his damage control for the stupid things he said is to say more stupid things.

The Jami Turman Fan Club: It mattered a lot. It was a chance for Romney to look more presidential and convince undecided voters, and he failed. Treading water isn't going to do it for Romney.

It certainly feeds the perception of a candidate who has no idea what he's doing, but I think the weak damage control from the "47%" tape will hurt his campaign much more in the long run.

but bush was up against kerry. obama isn't kerry. if anything, obama is bush (but in a better position) and romney is kerry (but worse, which is saying something).

He's been too distant in his earlier efforts to win over the regular voters and now will try to get into the comfort zone of the common man, trying to bond, being the "I-want-to-have-a-beer-with-this-guy" candidate.

Introducing: "Have a sh*t with Mitt!"

Hear and experience the very best of the Republican presidential nominee in a truck stop stall near you! Go to intimate levels of politics, tap into the very vein of his presidential capabilities and take your stance on hotly debated issues!

Obama is Clinton if Clinton was going against Kerry. Remember that people didn't think Clinton was successful during the end of his first term, and look how that turned out. On the other hand, Bush had "succeeded" in passing several of his platform planks and was a horrific disaster for our nation, the world, and possibly the fabric of the space time brane that we are encompassed by.

not5am: but bush was up against kerry. obama isn't kerry. if anything, obama is bush (but in a better position) and romney is kerry (but worse, which is saying something).

That's exactly it. Mainstream voters will easily stick with the incumbent over a poorly differentiated "not Obama" candidate like Romney - just as they didn't abandon Bush for the "not Bush" campaign Kerry was running, no matter how much the Democratic party tried to demonize Bush for his failings.

2012-09-20 11:51:25 AM
Problem #1 You haven't said anything concrete about your plan for taxes, jobs, etc.
Problem #2 You've flip flopped numerous times on wedge issues and frankly need a farking do-over with nearly everything you say.
Problem #3 You are running with the GOP, which deserves blame for obstructionism and a focus on penis-goes-where, rape wand, and other bigoted laws instead of creating jobs or helping working families.
Problem #4 You have come across as an out of touch aristocrat that is so soul-less, selfish, and evil that people quite frankly question whether you have a soul or are a robot.

Solution: Make Romney appear human.

Guess what, #1, #2, and #3 are much, much more important.

2012-09-20 11:51:43 AM
Um.... it hasn't worked too well thus far, why would it suddenly work 'now'?

As a candidate, Romney is John Kerry minus the "at least he means well."

2012-09-20 11:59:50 AM
By all means, please, let's have more video of him opening his mouth.

2012-09-20 12:00:13 PM
I hope Adelson buys a cable channel so we can have all-Mitt, all-the-time. Seeing the man up-close and personal 24/7. Down to how he brushes his teeth, how he dons the Sacred Garments, what threadcount the sheets are in his 50's era bedroom with split beds. A Romney blitzkrieg, so we can see exactly the man we're voting for.

So this. As much as I think Obama's in line for a massive win, he can't let up until Election Day night.

2012-09-20 12:03:38 PM
I would like to introduce Romney to a couple of hard pipe-hitting nubians with a pair of pliers and a blowtorch.

This. Diebold still has an excellent chance of bringing Ohio in for the Republicans.
