you know who else... oh, never mind.

seriously, has there EVER been a more tone-deaf candidate than this guy?

He must be actively trying to lose the election. That's about the only explanation I can think of that doesn't turn my brain into an inside-out TARDIS.

Oh, come the fark on. This "candidacy" is just some elaborate Sacha Baron Cohen stunt, isn't it?

He's using the money from this campaign to pay off the bills from '08 and any left over will go to his offshore accounts.

Was that his final solution?

As opposed to closed boarders, which is in keeping with talk like a pirate day.

However, you've gotta distinguish between wisecracks and actual butthurt as displayed with the binder clips.

I, too, like open boarders, so long as they're above the age of consent, free of social diseases, and have less body weight, body fat and body hair than I do.

Open borders would be nice, too, since it would mean that kids would not be punished for being born on one side of a line in the sand drawn over a century ago by aristocrats and being raised on the other after being taken across said line by their parents before they were old enough to talk.

I'm surprised our friends on the right haven't lost their shiat over his line about how, well, it wasn't very helpful to be called the godfather of Obamacare during the primary, but it's nice now!

They don't watch Univision. As such, they've no idea what he's going on about. Doesn't help that the collective right has their fingers in their ears screaming "LALALALAALA I CANT HEAR YOU" and secretly pretending the were instead running Zombie Reagan instead of Monstrosity Mitt.

Er, I guess I just don't really have a problem with the words, there. I'm pretty confident he wasn't implying he was about to go all Nazi on some Mexicans. He just meant that he could magically solve the immigration issue forever.

Possibly by making things so shiatty no one wants to come here and we start packing into trucks to head across the border ourselves.

Like I said, he's trying to lose. I make no attempt to fathom why, however, since I quite like hearing sound and seeing colors rather than seeing sound and hearing colors.

C'mon you guyz.
I mean, I hate Romney, too and don't want him to win. I'm only voting for him because, well... I don't know.
Socialism,maybe?

But this has gone far enough now. Y'all have to stop pointing out every stupid thing he says.

It's just fun to point out how close Republicans are getting to outright Nazi quotations without crossing that line. It's like they're playing the Nazi Penis Game, trying to one-up each other in volume without being heard by the teacher. Just this week we're looking at a "permanent solution" for illegal immigrants and finally have an answer to the "Palestinian problem." I should probably make up some Bingo cards with some of the following quotations:

"I do not see why man should not be as cruel as nature."
"I use emotion for the many and reserve reason for the few."
"Anyone who sees and paints a sky green and fields blue ought to be sterilized."
"Humanitarianism is the expression of stupidity and cowardice."
"The leader of genius must have the ability to make different opponents appear as if they belonged to one category. "
"Woman's world is her husband, her family, her children and her home. We do not find it right when she presses into the world of men."
"How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think."

Granted a few of those have already been used up, more or less.

I mean really, if he'd been talking about global warming and used those words, would the reaction be the same? You guys are so desperate to link whatever you can to racism that you throw common sense out the window. Romney says something remotely similar to a nazi slogan so he is a bad man? What about if he said something like "hail Mary", would you find that racist, too (from Sieg Heil)?

To elaborate, "solution" is a word used a lot during campaigning. Everyone uses phrases like "we need a solution" and such

Exactly. That's why I don't watch Fox News anymore.
It's just like Greg Gutfeld said today on Fox & Friends about the Obama campaign,"This isn't a campaign, it's a cult."

You're right, Romney says stupid shiat all the time. Pointing it out over and over and over and over isn't going to me me like him less than I already do. I can't wait for Nov. 6 so I can vote for Romney, then this whole silly election will be over.

It only counts if illegals are involved. Because, you know, not giving citizenship to people entering a country they don't belong to for the purposes of work is the same as genocide, right?

I don't think anyone really thinks he's a Nazi sympathizer for this, and honestly the statement wasn't even a gaffe, flub, or bad choice of words. He thinks that Obama's plan is a stopgap measure, and his solution would be one that's permanent. It's just fun to point out the similarities. I mean, for one, the Maginot Line didn't stop Romney from getting to Paris either.

Very few use the phrase "permanent solution". What is permanent? Death and taxes, right? Anything else?

I am starting to think Romney both wants to be president and does not want to be president.

It would be entirely consistent. Maybe he is actually a Daoist.

It's cute how he's going on Univision to win Latino support. Maybe he can close that 30 point gap by a few percentage points? At this point it's like trying to get out of a 50-foot hole by standing on a chair:

Fox New Latino poll, Obama/Romney:
Health care: 62 percent/29 percent
Education: 65 percent/25 percent
Immigration: 63 percent/25 percent
Representing views of Latinos: 68 percent/18 percent

Good luck with that.

The thing is that there's not enough truly undecided independent voters left for Romney to win, even if they ALL vote for him. He ALSO needs to win back some independent voters that have already declared 'leaning Obama'. I think in showbiz they call that an "uphill battle".

Obama used the phrase "Permanent solution" when talking about illegal immigration. No one gave a shiat then.

Funny, I was thinking that exact same thing earlier today. With a standing promise of 2011 taxes to be released in October and debates coming up, he might just hit BSOD on live tv.

Well, now that they know how much he wishes he was ethnically Mexican so he could have an easy life, they'll flock to him.

Any adjective before solution automatically mean the person who said the phrase is a Nazi and wants to violently exterminate the entire race of those involved. Don't you know?
