gerbilpox: The officer then gave the motorist his cell phone number and told him to call over the weekend

You'd think a cop would make themselves less easy to catch.

Mr. Potatoass: Deman: What I don't get is what the guy could have been possibly doing to be worth paying 5000$ to get out of. All I can think of is a DUI, what other traffic offenses could possibly cost you that much if you just accept and pay the ticket?

A buddy of mine had a cellmate that got pulled over with a corpse he had recently dug up; corpse was buckled up in the passenger seat.

FTFA: The officer then gave the motorist his cell phone number and told him to call over the weekend, according to court documents. Instead, the motorist called Chicago Police and the Internal Affairs Division began an investigation.

The only reason Internal Affairs decided to press ahead with this case was because Rodriguez didn't have the $10K they wanted to make the whole thing go away.

18 year vet? LOL
I am sure that this is the first time that this has happened. No wait, he said that he does this all the time.
I am even more surprised that the CPD and IA actually did something about this.

No wait, "Rodriguez"? sounds brown to me.

YAY they finally caught that one bad cop!!
