GOOD!

Drugs should be legal, thus dealing shouldn't be a crime. I want to be able to wander down to the pharmacy, no scrip, and pick up whatever drugs I want. That's not the case, so drug dealers fill an important niche.

There IS a way to take these drug dealers off the street PERMANENTLY.

Let pharmacies sell good pot.

Let convenience stores sell it. Not gas stations, though. Weed drivers are worse than drunks.

Also thousands of innocents could have been put in jail, so its kind of a wash.

I think the major stumbling block to this happening is that the people who are most responsible for the prosecution of pot either haven't gotten up the ambition to start the switch from running one industry to the other, or they just don't know how. Either way, it's gonna happen eventually once people figure out how much of a waste pot prosecution is.

\should be interesting to hear the excuses when it's classified back to C-V or VI like it should be

So.. if he was innocent does that mean he's guilty of perjury for lying about being guilty?

Not really. They can appeal that they pled under duress, especially if, without the falsified evidence, the state didn't have a case against them.

You'd have to prove the plea is under duress, and that's really impossible to prove. It doesn't matter if the state has a case against you if you plea, that plea is permanent. Read up on what you have to agree to in a plea bargain. You can't get it overturned unless you can prove you were forced to plead guilty.

Read up on plea bargains, seriously. Plea bargains are rarely overturned.

nope. fark pro-legalization asshats. i've had my fill of them here in the PNW. You pollute up your neighbors' air every time you start the car or light the BBQ. You have nothing to be smug about. I'd rather some guy grow his weed in his yard legally instead of buying some that was either grown in a raped national forest or is covered in Mexican blood. 9 million times, eh?

Let's assume you are Drew's pet and can post once per second.

9,000,000 seconds adds up 104.166667 days. You would have to be posting continuously, once a second, day and night, for at least that long.

Since I've never even seen you post, I can only assume you're terrible at math and hyperbole as well as basic logic. Since you're 0 for three, I will extrapolate your chemistry skills are likewise lacking and the links you post will not support your own argument. Therefore, I insist you go for a 9,000,001st link.

right, attack the hyperbolic number that was clearly not meant to be literal vs the actual content.

the chemistry of farking wood combustion, or car exhaust has a few chemical commonalities between them and tobacco smoke those commonalities are described as "threshold toxicants" and "threshold carcinogens" - that means that they're only dangerous over certain levels of exposure.

tobacco (and cannabis) smoke on the other hand contain a number of chemicals for which there is no safe exposure threshold - that is they cannot find any level at which no harmful effects can be measured.

it's simple. farking. chemistry. i've cited all my sources numerous times on this website. eventually i'll get around to bothering to pull up a full citation list again and i'll just save it in a text file to copy+paste bomb on people like you.

Your at least indirect support of drug laws and fear of pot smoke, and fear of change, are calling the cadence that marches all over my 4th Amendment rights. You need to learn a thing or two about your supposed air quality "rights" before you go spouting off about uncontrolled aerosols. Your arbitrarily defined safety thresholds are meaningless when talking about rights you don't have. We are talking about

Kazan: my rights

, and your burnt pork chop stank violates my air quality rights as much as my cigarette farks with yours.

Good, nobody should go to jail for drugs. That's stupid.

Anybody in jail for possession or manufacture of "drugs" should be released, tomorrow morning, and be allowed to slap the faces of both their arresting officer's and prosecutor's face on their way to the limo that the DA drives them home in.

Then the DA should drive the "perp" home, in a limo, then shine the perp's shoes, and then do Jager shots and bong hits with them. Mandatory, no exceptions. DA shines and pours.

Screw the "drug war". End silly behavioral wars. Like Prohibition worked, like making prostitution illegal works. Waste of time and resources, stain on otherwise law-abiding people's records.

OK, say you plead guilty to a murder on the advice of your lawyer because they found the body and it all comes back to you, and you'd be eligible for the death penalty otherwise.
But then they find they misidentified the body, and your "victim" is very much alive and well in another state.

There is a simple test that could be done here. Stick you in a garage with a running vehicle. We'll have you stay there 8 hours while the car idles. At the same time, we'll put a heavy smoker in a different garage, have him smoke constantly for 8 hours. See which one is alive in the morning.

Trolling aside, you failed to address his point, which is that if you did the same test you suggest for a mere 10 seconds, you wouldn't measure any harm with the CO inhaler but you would with the cigarette smoker.
