A sculpture adorns the front grounds at Medway Plantation in Goose Creek, South Carolina, on February 17, 2012. The plantation contains 6,728 acres of land and is staffed by 7 full-time employees. Upkeep on the property can run as high as $500,000 a year. In the South Carolina Lowcountry, more than a half-dozen antebellum plantations, which don't change hands often, are now for sale.

If only there was a way to cheaply staff these plantations.

Minnesota's picture is a farking interstate sign. You know, the same interstate sign that exists in every state down to Texas.

But wait! This one has scratches from when the bridge fell down. Guess what? I have pictures of the smoking bridge. Suck on that street sign.

Texas child pageants and sheep contests are inexplicably missing.

Mentat: Missouri was just a scene from The Day After.

That movie scared the fark out of me as a kid. We watched it in 6th grade in history, and we ran out of time right after the nukes went off everywhere. Never watched past that the first time and I've always been a little too stuck on stuff like that because of that. Your mind shouldn't wander to nuclear war, but mine does.

ManateeGag: of all the things in NJ to photograph, they pic a temporary fair in Giants Stadium parking lot? At least they did go cliche with an AC pic, but what about a flooded cranberry field, those are kinda cool.

Even worse, off all of the beauty and variety that California has to offer, they photograph some kid at a Dodgers game. The farking Dodgers, fer Chrissake, the very worst thing about California, and that's what they show! I'd have preferred that they show downtown Bakersfield, or an oil refinery, or a garbage dump, or damn near anything else rather than something relating to the goddamn Dodgers and their "fans."
