You know who else was in NYC's Museum of Modern Art?

I'm a Mets fan and found this headline funny as hell. Well done.

Do you ever think that Munch had a hangover when he painted this?

Is that the new model for Mr. Met?

I hate that my favorite gif of Mr. Met is too big for Fark.

Absolutely. Considering the guy in the background is puking over the rails, I'd say it was a helluva party.

My only solace was Ryan Howard's similar lack of bat movment against the Giants.

Munch made a few copies (studies) of The Scream, so there are a few floating around.

Sort of a CSB - I've done some art handling for museums. About 5 years ago there was a Munch exhibition in NY. As handler I packed up The Scream for sending back to it's museum home in Norway.

I think they should change the name of "The Scream" to "Just visited peopleofwalmart.com".

The Mets would have been done in 4 or 5 without Beltran. Blame:

Guillermo Mota for throwing an 0-2 fastball to Scott Spiezio in game 3 after making him look silly with two offspeed pitches, or Shawn Green for not making a catch at the wall.

David Wright for hitting 160.

Willie Randolph for sending up Cliff Floyd's corpse in that last inning in the hopes of a miracle, rather than either bunting or putting up a guy with legs.

El Duque and Pedro for getting hurt in September.

Steve Trachsel for existing.

All better people to blame than the guy who was responsible for getting the Mets into the postseason, and hit 296 with 3 hr and a 1.054 ops in that series.

But instead, you're probably going to say he didn't come through when it "counted" and that the Mets would have been better off losing in five games without him.

As a Yankee fan, I'm getting a kick out of this.

In all seriousness, if you blame Carlos Beltran for freezing at that sick Uncle Charlie that Wainwright unleashed, then you blame Bartman for the Cubs not going to the WS in 2003.

Ever get the feeling Alex Gonzalez funded some sort of Bartman hate campaign?

Beltran wasn't touching that curve with a tennis racket. You could argue he was BETTER off taking it, hoping it'd wind up a ball.

There are actually 4 different versions of it: 2 paintings and 2 pastels.

I think it was the original that was taken, but my memory is not great. It was a big deal, but they did get it back.

Get the feeling? How about that SOB must've funded that from the moment the knives came out in Chicago.

Even if he had this:

Id like to thank the Marlins for ending 2 Mets playoff attempts. Considering the fish pretty much blew those 2 years, those were the only lulz provided.

Dammit, we will be in NY but are supposed to leave on the 24th, shiat shiat shiat, I wonder what penalty for changing flights?
