So I go to college in 1975, to study Forestry. And I meet all sorts of lumberjacks, and hippies.
And the hippies, man, are they into this ENT thing. And have I read it? And would I like to read it?
And what do I think of it?
And they are unfarkingbearable.
So I read it.
I tell them it's trahs, and in 20 or so years, will be Hollywood fodder.
Do they freidn me on facebook now?
No.
They're too busy ranting about an Obamanation, and how fraking will save the economy, and how Hillary is a witch, and how Michelle is an Aunt Jemima. And how their bonds aren't performing.

Farking hippies.

That "previously undiscovered Lord of the Rings illustration"...JUST HAPPENS TO BE MY WIFE!

- I'm sorry, it's a compulsion.  Henny Youngman was my spirit animal, then due to an unspeakable incident Hillary Duff became my spirit animal, it's a long story, I shant bother you with it.

I was rather hoping they were illustrations that Tolkien did. He apparently did quite a few.

For an article about illustrations, that one was sure short on pictures. When I clicked on it, I really expected a slideshow, and was going to willingly look through the slideshow to see them. If they were only going to show one of the mentioned illustrations, I would have thought they'd have at least chosen one more epic than that one.

Pretty sure the 'signed' copy (it's a signed page inserted into the binding of a printing of the trilogy in one book) has her artwork on the dust jacket. Very similar in style.
