TonnageVT: Cajnik: TonnageVT: so it's great in it's own way.

Safe answer. Which gives you chills, CL anthem or FA Cup anthem?

/Cluj sucks, btw. If you didn't already realize that.

FA Cup has an anthem?? Haha...CL no doubt. Every time I hear it, I get the chills. Just the thoughts of European nights, there's a whole different atmosphere in the stadium.

Sorry, but 80,000 people singing Abide with Me is much more stirring than a second rate operatic recording on a CD

Cajnik: ddam: Cluj is gonna win it all. I just looked up their players and at least 2 of them have only 1 name thus I assume they're Brazilians. Brazilians + Romanians will win it all.

Yes, that happens a lot in the Romanian league.

Cluj is a university city, and along with Timisoara was probably more famous from the events in the late 80s and early 90s. It would be a nice tourist spot

I'm from Romania so I'm quite familiar with the cities there. However, I haven't really paid attention to the national league since I left in 1994 and a lot of teams have changed names and disolved while new teams formed. Before I left I was a Steaua supporter and vaguely remember the European Cup championship of 1986 when they beat Barcelona in penalty kicks and that was before they had Hagi in the lineup.

Romania had some great players that are still unknown to the world like Dobrin (who in the opinion of many that have seen him play put him on par with Maradona and Pele) that were not allowed to leave the country. Even Hagi was only allowed to leave the country after the revolution and that was already past his peak.
