(Michelle Malkin)   Remember that story of the DNC showing Russian ships in a military tribute video. Turns out the planes shown in that video definitely were not Russian. They were probably Turkish   (michellemalkin.com) divider line 19

SkinnyHead: It's very relevant. Democrats put up this big patriotic display to show everyone how pro-military they are, and now it turns out they were honoring the Russian Navy and Turkish Air Force, rather than US forces. That exposed their whole display as a facade.

What did Romney have to say about how he supports the troops at his convention? And what were his follow up comments on the military, again?

Oh, this thread again.

Troll accounts; we covered this in the first thread. An incompetent staffer who couldn't tell the difference between his ass and a hole in the ground picked the first cool looking high resolution picture he found in a selection of stock photos, likely just assuming they were all US equipment.

MyRandomName: Fark. Okay to rip endlessly on conservative gaffes, see 20 threads on akin. Not okay to laugh at democrat gaffes.

There's an issue of relevancy. The (at the time) likely next senator from MO, meaning an actual policy maker, showing that he has no idea about junior high school biology and less interest in women vs. a lazy GIS search.

And here's the problem. There are currently two very real attacks one can make on the Obama administration right now regarding their attitude toward the stupid Innocence of Muslims movie and the Benghazi timeline and aftermath. Unfortunately, thanks to the past 5 years of poutrage, these criticisms are being said in the exact same tone that complaints about jeans, beer, oval office attire and iPod playlists were criticized.

Well done!

Just Another OC Homeless Guy: And - if you are smart - someone who knows about it checks it. Apparently Dims are not smart.

They were smart enough to actually mention and praise the troops... which was evidently 100x smarter than the Republicans.

GAT_00: So Malkin is desperately pulling anything she can find to attack with, never mind the value or relevance.

It's almost as if she's spewing... hot air.

Republicans: Start pointless wars that get our troops killed for no reason and then slash veterans benefits.
Democrats: Don't get our troops killed and support veterans benefits.

Gee. I wonder who supports the troops more.

Remember when John McCain paid tribute to the soldiers recovering at Walter Reed Medical center?

And the background photo used was Walter Reed Middle School?

Sorry to burst your bubbles, but they showed those images as examples of the sort of forces that even a retired US service member leaves behind him. American exceptionalism!! Don't tell me you oppose that?
