That's nobody's business but the Turks.

It's a secret code:
Russia=the USSR=COMMUNISM
Turkey=Muslims

Therefore, the Democrats are secretly communist Muslims! (Also, the Kenyan submarine fleet is in there, too.)

Why are we still linking to Malkin?

That's nice. Now, what are your plans for the economy?

So Malkin is desperately pulling anything she can find to attack with, never mind the value or relevance.

2012-09-18 12:01:56 PM
It's very relevant. Democrats put up this big patriotic display to show everyone how pro-military they are, and now it turns out they were honoring the Russian Navy and Turkish Air Force, rather than US forces. That exposed their whole display as a facade.

It's just a fark up at an event that there should not have been a fark up. Producers and editors did not give due diligence to ensure that their work was accurate and of high quality. Just laziness. Typical of liberals.

Sorry to burst your bubbles, but they showed those images as examples of the sort of forces that even a retired US service member leaves behind him. American exceptionalism!! Don't tell me you oppose that?

/please take my mocking you seriously so I can laugh at you more

What did Romney have to say about how he supports the troops at his convention? And what were his follow up comments on the military, again?

Remember when John McCain paid tribute to the soldiers recovering at Walter Reed Medical center?

And the background photo used was Walter Reed Middle School?

Isn't that better? After all, Turkey is an American ally. Or is it just, oh noes they are teh Mooslims?

okay... um, so? Some folks don't know one plane from another, why is this important? Does this change policy in some way? Does this demean the U.S. military? What's the outrage here?

It shows that they were not serious in their patriotic display. If they were serious about honoring US forces, they would have used pictures of actual US forces, not Russian warships or Turkish airshow jets.

Clearly it would have better not to mention the military during a time of war at all, you know, because it wasn't "important".

Oh, this thread again.

Troll accounts; we covered this in the first thread. An incompetent staffer who couldn't tell the difference between his ass and a hole in the ground picked the first cool looking high resolution picture he found in a selection of stock photos, likely just assuming they were all US equipment.

2012-09-18 02:44:37 PM
The DNC blamed a "vendor error" for the Russian ships being shown, so I imagine that will be the scapegoat again for the display of Turkish Air Force planes. Where is this "vendor" anyway? They didn't outsource video production did they?

It's called "buying stock footage", you idiotic moron. They purchase footage called 'American Warships.mp4', and have to count on whomever provided the footage(Called a farking vendor, dumbass) naming it correctly. You think footage like this just falls from the sky? In today's graphics production field, you pretty much buy all of your footage from a "vendor".

Malkin.....I foresee a very Breitbart future for this tightly wound harpy.

2012-09-18 02:45:17 PM
So the DNC isn't sponsored by war mongers and DoD budget fraudsters.....

Republicans: Start pointless wars that get our troops killed for no reason and then slash veterans benefits.
Democrats: Don't get our troops killed and support veterans benefits.

Gee. I wonder who supports the troops more.

So now Kemal Attaturk must sing the Armenian national anthem in Russian accompanied by Serj Tankian on kazoo and Shavo Odadjian on theremin before every baseball game.

2012-09-18 02:47:18 PM
This should be brought up by the Romney campaign, this is their silver bullet to slay the were-muslim from Kenya!

2012-09-18 02:48:03 PM
Who cares if Democrats used stock footage of military ships in their ads? Republicans are running a stock candidate for the position of president of the united states.

Skinnyhead doesn't understand how buying stock imagery works. This falls about 99.9% on the supplier, and maybe .1% on someone with the DNC saying 'Hey, those don't look American!'. Hell, I'm curious why it took the Right this long to figure it out. If it's such a glaring error and so obvious, why didn't we hear about it immediately?

2012-09-18 02:53:00 PM
Well that does it. I'm voting for Romney.

No. How am I expected to remember all the stupid shiat your kind tosses at the president? I started losing attention around mustardgate.

Michelle Malkin found a mistake? Well, I'm glad her missing cousin was finally found.

2012-09-18 03:03:24 PM
Actually if they were Turkish ships then the Democrats may be OK. A lot of the Turskish Navy is really U.S. Navy surplus. We've got a WWII submarine as a museum here that spent several years as the Murat Reis
