God damned biased liberal media!

Wow, a list of Obama quotes as their article and right around the time when Romney has said something obnoxious and stupid. My, how coincidental that this article happens to occur right after Romney's quote. And 25? Wow, strange to post so many quotes right after Romney's latest derp.

Its almost as if this was intentional, like saying both sides are bad so vote republican.

"It was usually an effective tactic, another one of those tricks I had learned: (White) People were satisfied so long as you were courteous and smiled and made no sudden moves. They were more than satisfied, they were relieved -- such a pleasant surprise to find a well-mannered young black man who didn't seem angry all the time." -- Barack Obama

What's even more obnoxious is the so-called "liberal media" trotting out Obama's "clinging to guns and religion" as a false equivalence. I've heard it mentioned 3 times this morning on 3 different shows on MSNBC, by the hosts, not Republicans trying to spin away.

Philip Francis Queeg: Why do this guy's idiotic lists keep getting greenlit?

Because making fun of John Hawkins, professional Fat Blogger, is hilarious?

It's so thoughtful that they took care to note that each of the items in an article titled "The 25 Most Obnoxious Quotes From Barack Obama" had "-- Barack Obama" at the end to indicate that it was a quote from Barack Obama. That must be so helpful for their readers.

/They said Barack Obama 25 times.

2012-09-18 11:19:58 AM
I'm OK with all of those... actually kinda made me want to read one of his books.

Oh come on. You have to admit that "punished with a baby" is a great phrase. It's the kind of phrase that would make an intriguing chapter heading or a great band name, and it conjurs up endless mental images. Would you be beaten over the head with one? Hit by one moving at high velocity? Smothered with one? Haha: "Punished with a baby."

2012-09-18 11:22:52 AM

DammitIForgotMyLogin: And a special entry reserved for the Obama quote which Townhall and it's readers consider to be the most obnoxious:

"I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

I was quite surprised this one wasn't included.

EyeballKid: SkinnyHead: The part where he and his Marxist buddies grind their cigarettes into the dorm hallway carpet because they felt alienated by "bourgeois society" is the most obnoxious. And the most telling.

Yeah. Kids in college do dumbs stuff. I'll alert the local media, you inform the clergy.

Why is he bragging about it? And it wasn't just dumb, it was malicious to put cigarette burns in the carpet just to get back at "bourgeois society." Makes people wonder whether he still wants to destroy things to get back at "bourgeois society."

2012-09-18 11:24:42 AM

No, the most obnoxious Romney quote of all TIME!

"It's not worth moving heaven and earth and spending billions of dollars just trying to catch one person."

Talking about the person responsible for the deaths of 3000 Americans, Bin Laden. Nothing Obama has ever said comes even close to this irresponsible, terror-enabling quote from Romney.

2012-09-18 11:25:29 AM

SkinnyHead: When we ground out our cigarettes in the hallway carpet or set our stereos so loud that the walls began to shake, we were resisting bourgeois society's stifling conventions. We weren't indifferent or careless or insecure. We were alienated.

The part where he and his Marxist buddies grind their cigarettes into the dorm hallway carpet because they felt alienated by "bourgeois society" is the most obnoxious. And the most telling.

Because everyone in college is an enlightened member of society, fully mature and respectful of their peers and at peace with their station in life.

8) "The private sector is doing fine." -- Barack Obama

Holy crap, that's obnoxious. What an awful human being. I can't believe anybody voted for him.

i used to manage a store that sold bourgeois societies, but then one day barack obama (then known in the neighborhood as "barry the cock-sucking crackhead") came in and just wrecked up the joint. insurance said they couldn't cover acts of malicious socialism so my boss had to close down the store. so obnoxious.

2012-09-18 11:27:32 AM
As for acts, Romney's act of assaulting a gay student by holding down and cutting his hair was more obnoxious than any act Obama has ever undertaken as a kid. Imitating a cop comes in close behind.

My favorite Romney quotes (predates the idiocy of the current week.)

Doesn't sound like he's bragging about anything. Sounds like Obama is telling us about the anger, resentment, sense of not-belonging, and general coming-of-age angst common among the 18-to-21 set.

Don't worry. You'll get there soon.

What is happening to our young people? They disrespect their elders, they disobey their parents. They
ignore the law. They riot in the streets inflamed with wild notions. Their morals are decaying. What is to become of them?

Writing an anecdote in a book and explaining the reasons you held at the time for doing them is not 'bragging'.

It's the new republican debating trick.
1) Find a person you don't like
2) Find a statement they said.
3) Claim that statement is pure evil.

I don't have the graphic, but I love that picture that says something like "Once you've determined you don't like a person you see everything they do as offensive, 'Look at that b*tch eating crackers like she owns the place.'"

Obama was saying there are parts of the country where jobs have disappeared and those Americans are being ignored and he would make an effort to meet with those people that did not agree with him:

"And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

Romney pretty much said "I cant reach those people, I'm not going to try"

Clicked on it just to quick search "you didn't build that".....guess what, that quote is out of context and originated from the GOP

He also said that he doesn't care about those people or think he should care about them.

Diogenes: 75% of Hawkins' pieces are bullet lists. Lazy mutherfarker.

Sometimes I think that the "writers" at ClownHall gather in a conference room every morning and pick a straw from a bunch of straws being held by the website owner.

The one who picks the short straw then goes to his computer, types some derp, submits it and then sheds tears in requiem to the piece of his/her soul that just screamed in pain and floated away.

Destroying property to get back at "bourgeois society" because you're full of anger, resentment, and sense of not-belonging sounds more like an antisocial personality disorder than just general coming-of-age angst.

EyeballKid: Obviously, his next target is your lily white mother's/sister's/grandmother's/aunt's vagina.

It's more likely that he would want to burn holes in our "bourgeois" economy the same way that he burned holes in his dorm hallway carpet to get back at "bourgeois society."
