I'd ride that horse any day, mister:

/Loved Rose during Eccleston's run
//She got annoying when RTD renamed her Mary Sue.

Pond > Rose by a factor of about a million.

Good ponds have thriving wildlife - even if that means leeches as well

And mosquitoes.

It's natural, so it must be good for the environment.

Oh, this is how it all ends. Pond, flirting with herself. True love at last. Oh, sorry Rory.

1: Sara Jane FTW.
2: Donna Noble was the best of the new companions. She best exemplified the "normal person caught up in the weirdness of the Doctor" of any of them.

I was going to make some comment agreeing with the wonderfulness of Rose, but as a straight woman, I realize my opinion has no value in this here "which companion is HOTTER!" thread.

/If I liked girls, I'd prefer Rose.

If they're Jonesing for some Ponds, why Donna they just go down to the River and smell the Roses?

Since most ponds are polluted by run-off, the solution is to build them on the top of hills.

I really REALLY wish they would have brought her back into the story line.

They created another person with Gallifrean genetics. As I understand it, it takes training to be a Time Lord.. or something like that. Not that she couldn't then be trained...

For that matter, you know that pocket watch that the Doctor and the Master used to become human to hide from those looking for Time Lords? Why couldn't they just use one to turn Donna biologically Gallifrean, to match the Time Lord mind she gained? Start rebuilding the Time Lords and all that.

Tricky. I sort of got the impression that all Gallifeans were 'Time Lord' material, some just better than others. I guess it was the whole 'look into the time vortex and see if you survive and stay sane' bit.

I am just annoyed because the end of that episode made it very clear that she at least had the basic materials to be a Time Lord (she REGENERATES for cripes sake!). Though -- admitedly -- the ... um... repopulation issue would be an awkward discussion....

Part of me still unrealistically hopes that Donna does become a Time Lord someday.
