So will the natural aging process.
Doesn't look any worse than most 48 year old brits.

I tried to find a picture of a famous 48 year old brit, but Kylie Minogue is Australian. And 44.
And Sting is 60.

And I really don't have a point, or valid retort.

//except Crack is Whack.

wildcardjack: Episodes to see: Backwards and Tikka To Ride.

I think that like a lot of similar cult-y stuff, that giving somebody just the "best episodes" is a recipe for failure. Often, much of what makes them the best requires backstory and familiarity with characters that only comes with seeing a lot of the episodes. Not only that, but sometimes, the fondness is genuinely not replicable if the episodes are watched too far outside of their creation time. You may remember the characters fondly... but you were younger and the world was different. Showing them to somebody today for the first time is essentially out-of-context, and trying to pin down a few "best episodes" is doubly so.

I'll second this, at least for smaller TV shows. Red Dwarf amounts to a few hours a season, easily watchable in a fairly short amount of time.

It's not like Farscape, where it's 22 45 minute episodes a season for 4 seasons, + a mini series to end it with, and many, many standalone episodes despite the over-all story archs.
