If I remember correctly, the "what if the earth was swallowed by a demon goat" scenario from a couple of years back was never adequately answered, so I honestly don't see how we can explore this situation until we've addressed that.

FTFA: Battalions of lawyers are set to spring into action if there is a hint that Obama may lose. Planning and preparations for such an eventuality have been in progress since the early days of the Obama Administration.

The word "eventuality" aside, I'm quite sure both major candidates have extensive legal teams on hand in case of some electoral dispute. One would think a media analyst would know this after the Bush v. Gore issue in 2000. That's kind of what's been going on in OH with the early voting disputes and all that.
