Exactly. And clearly anyone with XXY coding is committing fraud no matter what their name is, as their DNA doesn't sufficiently identify them as male or female. I don't know if it would work or not, but if they were to drive up the turnpike to Tulsa and establish residence there for thirty days they could file for the name change in Tulsa county, albeit it is still Oklahoma, T-town is a bit more on the liberal side than OKC. How is that relevant to the conversation? The mechanism for gender assignment in those animals are very much different than in humans for one thing they did not evolve sex chromosomes. The environment often determines gender in those taxa.

That being said, Graves in not involved in this thing called reality. He represented the district now represented by Sally Kern and is cut from the same cloth. He tried to get blatantly unconstitutional anti-evolution bills though the legislature.

Of course he has not compassion for or willingness to learn about the reality that nature sometimes does a bad job at gender assignment. Sometimes people are of one gender for most characteristics and the other for others. Some who want such procedures are victims of a nasty one: developing the obvious physical characteristics of one gender and yet developing the mental gender identity of the other. Our gender identity is more than seeing that we are male (or female) and then adopting the cultural roles of our gender. These sort of biological mistakes are possible because we all have all the genes for making both sexes. The X chromosome has a signal that says "develop as a male." But that process can go wrong.
