I find it amusing that he went to Lansdowne High School.

He probably hung out at that pond next to it at some point.

If you haven't read Bicycle Diaries you might want to pick it up.

I've seen him several times over the years; always a fantastic show. The Forest was the most bizarre.

KrispyKritter: talking heads made life worth living.

Its a pity that they will never get back together again because David Byrne is dead set against it.

Still: Byrne is genius enough that I can forgive him for not wanting to wallow in past glory while still
not being happy about it.

Tenuous, at best.

I use to wonder "whatever happened to David Byrne?" until I realized that he has been around the whole time - just on a different plane.

I take him at his word that he doesn't want to make more music with TH because there was nothing left for them to say.

Frankly, I wish more people had that attitude. If the creativity isn't there, you shouldn't force it just to keep a band together. Collaborate with other people.

The only David Byrne interview you'll ever need to see.

That was cool.

Heh, knew what that was before clicking. In all fairness, there was a really cool interview with him showing off a building he converted into a piano-controlled instrument.

The Muthaship: most overrated musician I can think of

This is true for values of "I can only think of one musician".

This statement is missing either a "hundred" or "thousand"

One of my greatest regrets was not seeing Talking Heads back in the day, because I was a metalhead moron.

Funny, I use him as an example of the most underrated musician I can think of whenever pressed.
