My daughter had her first seizure on Christmas Eve when she was 3. My wife was driving on a desolate stretch of road 30 miles from home at the time. She ran up into an elderly couple's yard, and they called an ambulance.

Three years later, she got a flat tire in front of the same house. They remembered her, and aske how our daughter was.
