Oh man, old people staying healthy, I hope I can shake that from my memory! Why can't those people just die already and leave the earth to the beautiful people; like Snooki and J-Woww!

You need to see the women in these classes that feel the need to wear spandex all of a sudden, its frightening.

Fark Apple. It seems the unattainable is in fact unattainable at zombo.com when using an iPad. Apparently Apple is anti-achievement.

If I knew what Zumba was that might be the case. For all I know, it's a new clear, lemon-lime, malt liquor drink whose ad campaign will include a sign hanging in the bar on the space station Babylon 5...

I think it's a Coming to America reboot. I think I read it about it in the Entertainment tab a few months ago.

Ideally, I'll live another 70 years or so, and that will including exercising, farking, and driving to the farmer's market.

I would have no problem with it, except I don't think a lot of the teachers are really qualified to be teaching it. Repetitive injury is very real. There is another exercise group, NIA, that "incorporates" movements from dance and various martial arts. The "teachers" pay a lot of money to get belts and go to seminars where they learn these movements (largely incorrectly).

These people are, by and large, woo woo types who aren't willing to take the time to learn a given discipline.

Zumba, NIA, Tae Bo, etc. can be a good thing for some, but only if they are under a truly competent instructor. Just like in any physical/mental discipline, those are fairly rare.

I always wanted to try Zumba. I hear it's fun. Wouldn't want to do it around senior citizens though, for fear that I would laugh at them or feel bad for them, or feel bad for laughing at them.

Meh. My 85 year-old grandma did line-dancing several days a week right up to the day she died. It's kind of silly and not anything that I would want to watch, but it kept her active and got her out of the house.

My wife (50 years old) does Zumba 4 nights a week. Between that and Weight Watchers she has lost 80 pounds in the past 12 months bringing her to a weight and fitness level most of you little Farkers could only wet-dream about. (no, I will not post pictures)

I, for one, welcome our Zumba overlords
