My father was a Roger Miller fan. I remember alot of his music playing in the house when I was a kid, the one that stands out is Little Green Apples. I don't recall this segment from the Muppet Show, though. Nice find, subby

I grinned. The muppets made every musical guest 20% cooler I think.

Statler: Well, that was different.
Waldorf: Yep. Lousy...
Both: ...but different!

I grew up listening to this stuff. "Dang Me" was a huge hit when I was a kid, and I still love it. I wish there was more stuff like this in modern country.

Me too. The day before yesterday, I got on a Roger Miller kick (because I had "Engine Engine No. 9" Link stuck in my head) and played his YouTube list back-to-back. 89 songs in a row. This vid wasn't in it.

Also, the other day I played "You Can't Rollerskate in a Buffalo Herd" for my 4-year-old niece. At first, she was like "I don't want to listen to this, Uncle FINGER!" By the end, she was singing along, and asked me to play it again.

Did it have Miller's version of
In The Summertime from the same show?

My parents had Roger Millers Greatest Hits on LP when I was a kid. I have it on my Ipod.

Still sing it in the car.
Have the windows tinted, thank God.

Nope. Thanks for that!

Even Cee Lo Green made it work. Here's "Forget You" as performed by the Muppet chickens, which was the only way that song was ever going to get it onto a Disney soundtrack, so that's exactly what they did.

(Before you ask, yes, someone went and made it 20% cooler for Scootaloo, what with her being a chicken and all.)

An Ovation - one of the first acoustics to offer piezo-electronic pickups as an affordable option.
Dean 'Segway' Kaman developed the plastic-bowl-back thing to show off modern technology in musical instruments. The 'Adamas' model even had a carbon-fiber top.

"Roger Miller in the Muppetshow"
If one didn't know what The Muppet Show was, that description would make it sound like he was some German TV show.
